"I have used several fletching cements but I keep coming back to this one. It is easy to use, sets up fast, and holds very well. It has done a superb job on fletching for both my compound bow and a friend's crossbow. The crossbow launches arrows at more than 340 fps. The vanes stayed put through multiple shots."

"Make sure that you prep a new shaft with a scuff pad or a very very light sandpaper. Just enough to get rid of the gloss on the carbon shaft. Once that part is over, it is almost impossible for a fletching to fall off. They take getting shot by other arrows over and over and still stay stuck. This glue works!"

"This glue is excellent if you prepare carbon shafts correctly. For new shafts, wash area to be fletched with comet or ajax abrasive cleaner, rinse and let dry be fore fletching(due the same before putting on a cresting wrap). Refletching old shafts or replacing lost or bad vanes, strip vane and glue, remove remaining glue from shaft with acetone then wash with comet/ajax and let dry. Remember after cleaning the shaft and applying a cresting wrap, to wash the crested end with ivory soap and water and letting dry before applying fletching. I use an Arizona EZ Fletch and if you prepare your shafts correctly, this AAE FastSet Gel is as they say, the Cat's Meow. It's great stuff."

"I have to say that this glue holds tight to any feather, vane, shaft or nock. It gives you plenty of time to set it and the drying time is so short. I had problems in the past with glues that would work on some things and not others. This really got me back into fletching my own arrows again."
