"Solid shafts and inserts. Little pricey. Saw that the aluminum rings that support the knock may damage "bisket" type rests w/ repetitve use, but I use drop away most of time. Don't know if the knock is fully supported w/o the aluminum ring but seems to shoot fine w/o it."

"I use the Maxima arrows with starrflight's FOB and they work fantastic Glueing on fletching (NO MORE). Took a friend to the range and next thing I know he asked me to take him to the store where he could buy the Maxima arows and some FOB's"

"Straight, flat shooting, and strong. Cant go wrong with these shafts hunting or 3-D. The bull dog collar does nothing but make the arrow look pretty. Split two arrows hitting knocks."

"I have been shooting Carbon Express Maxima shafts for over 2 years now. I have used them for both target shooting and white tail hunting in the river bottom. I put these shafts through a great deal and have only lost 2 arrows over the years from fractures in the shaft. I practice shooting behind my house and have put numerous arrows through my 1/2" wood fence and into my metal shed from 60 yards. When pulled out they are still good as new. Great penetration and durability. These arrows are well worth the money. I highly recomend the maxima's for your next purchase."

"I give this product a 5 because they are tough! I let my friend shoot them and he missed the target twice and shot them through a 1/2" thick wood fence and I pulled them right out- no damage and I'm still shooting the same shafts today. I haven't any game with these yet, but they have been great target arrows for me and I'm sure they will do very well on any game species- especially if they can go thru a fence and still be like new."
