Broadheads,November 18, 2009
By BridgewaterBobfrom NW Ohio
"Lost confidence in my old tips; few, if any, blood trails on these fat, NW Ohio deer. I needed something else, but nothing mechanical. Salesman suggested what he used. Re-sighted in without blades, then with: no change. First shot on game, double-lunged a stationary doe at 30 paces in an open bean field. It ran 200 yards flat out and then piled up dead in plain sight. I picked up the four-foot wide blood trail within 10 paces of impact and followed it all the way to the carcass.
Good points: price, effective cutter.
Bad points: none noted."

Bring Big and Small Game Down,November 8, 2009
By Hallnafrom Seattle, WA
"With a suggestion by a friend, I switched from a more expensive broadhead to the Thunderheads. I did have to adjust my site slightly, as they did shoot a bit lower than my field tips. With the adjustment these have been right on. Took my first deer last year with the Thunderhead as well as many local racoons. For the price, you can't beat these."

UnMatched,October 28, 2009
By knightdeerhuntingfrom Heber Springs, Arkansas
"I have used Thunderheads for years. Talk about a broadhead that lasts. I have used a single broadhead multiple times to kill a deer and they never fail. They outlast the arrows by FAR! I have shot into lungs, heart, guts, bone, dirt, gravel, trees, you name it and they keep on going. I have shot many different kinds and the blades bend, break, or chip. I have never had any problems out of these broadheads and will continue to hunt with them. I am very pleased and will pay however much they cost to buy them WHEN I need to buy more. Out of the last 10 years I have used the same package of 3 and killed many deer and have missed many deer but they are always something I know I dont ever have to worry about when it is time. A++++++"

Awesome Bone Crushing,October 26, 2009
By RONRJON
"IVE BEEN USING THESE BROADHEADS FOR 12 YEARS AND HAVE HAD PASS THRU SHOTS ON ELK AND WHITETAIL. I HAD ONE PARTICULAR WHITETAIL, TURN DIRECTLY AT ME JUST BEFORE SHOOTING LEAVING ME ONLY A FRONT SHOT. I KNOW, I SHOULDNT HAVE TAKEN THE SHOT BUT ALL SYSTEMS WERE GO. THE THUNDERHEAD SLICES THROUGH THREE RIBS AND THE REAR LEG. NO BULL, THE BLADES SLICED THE BONE AND THE BROADHEAD WAS STILL IN TACT. FOR THOSE WHO ARE HAVEING TROUBLE WITH THE BLADES COMING OFF OR BRAKING. YOU JUST NEED TO PAY MORE ATTENTION WHEN YOU ARE ASSEMBLING THE BROADHEADS TO THE ARROW SHAFT."

Thunderhead 85 Gr. Review,October 6, 2009
By anythingoutdoorsfrom Atlanta, Georgia
"I started using Thunderheads around 20 years ago. I started using the 125gr at first then moved to 100 gr and have been using the 85 gr. for 15 years. In the 20 years that I have used them, I have shot around 60 or 70 deer, 5 to 40 yards, at all angles. These broadheads will not stop, all deer shot, were complete pass throughs (even after hitting both shoulder bones) Some dropped within sight and some ran as far as 150 yards. The true measure of a good broadhead is that all deer that ran 150 yards left a "highway" of a blood trail that made for easy tracking. These broadheads do that, when you put the arrow where it is supposed to go. A testament to the strength of these broadheads is that some of the broadheads I use have shot as many as 6 deer and still are as true as they were when new. All you need to do is replace the blades. I still have the first ones i bought 20 years ago, in fact usually I have to give them away to family, in order to buy more. I have seen the hype of other blades on the market and wanted to try them but when Thunderheads works so well in every area that is important (trueing, flight consistency, stength) why would you."

"I have been using the NAP Thunderheads for over twenty years. I used the 125 grains until a couple of years ago when I started using the lighter carbon arrow. I can't see paying twice as much for other broadheads when these have done an excellent job on everything from turkeys antelope and elk in Wyoming to caribou in Alaska. I am currently using the 100 grains and have still never lost any game. They are simple and very reliable."

Best fixed blade on the market,September 25, 2009
By JKelly4264from Enon, Al
"I have taken over 70 deer over five years with the same 6 broadheads i purchased six years ago. They are extremely tough and perform very well on deer. Stay away from the marketing hype of rage and other similar companies I have heard horror stories. Just be sure to keep your blades sharp. These broadheads have more value for the money than any other fixed blade on the market."

NAP THUNDERHEADS,September 10, 2009
By IdahoFowlerfrom Eastern, Idaho
"These Thunderhead broadheads are the best I have ever put on the end of my arrows. Excellent flight and accuracy are great to have when you make the switch from field tips to broadheads and these provide both. They leave a great blood trail to follow especially on Idaho Black Bear."

125 Thunderheads,September 3, 2009
By redfish911from Southern Maryland
"I have used all kinds of broadheads over my past 20 years of bowhunting with mixed results- worst case was the expanding heads- wounded, lost animals make me sick and hurt bowhunters image. They lose too much energy opening up the blades unless you make an absolutely perfect shot between the ribs.
Not so with Thunderheads- they take game- I am absolutely sold that these heads are the only ones I use for all my big game hunting. Razor sharp and leave gapping holes for easy to follow blood trails. Use the o rings to tighten up the heads to line up and spin test the alignment on your arrow shaft and they will fly true to your field points. If the head wobbles when you spin test, loosen or tighten to get perfect spin with no wobble.
I have taken dozens of big game animals using Thunderhead braodheads, including bear- I recommend them to all my friends-"

Thunderhead 100,August 16, 2009
By coyoteslayerfrom New York
"Ive been bow hunting for just 4 years (im 16) and all i have to say is WOW! My first year i bagged a 4 point with 100% pass through and the next year i killed a doe with the same broadhead all it needed was a little bit of a sharpening. They are tougher than nails and im just glad to see they are still around after all these years. They're a great buy since you cant ever buy 6 broadheads anymore and fly true. Would recommend to anyone."

Great Broadheads,August 4, 2009
By Huntinskerfrom Neligh, NE
"These are great broadheads. I have used these for several years now and have never had a problem. I have punched these through deer ribs and shoulder bones and have always had them punch out the other side without any damage. They fly accurately, at least on my bow and arrow combination. The price is right too."
