Cabela's Super Lazer Pro

The Super Lazer Pro Mag? is an incredibly tough broadhead that flies accurate and is easy to assemble. Features include a machined, hollow-ground steel point specially engineered to reduce friction on impact, increase penetration and open the way for the surgically sharp stainless steel blades. Each body is constructed of polished 6061 Series aluminum for light weight and strength and then finished with an ultra-hard anodized finish. In addition, the threads are machined to the most exacting tolerances for consistent and accurate arrow flight shot after shot. Cutting diameter 1-1/4". Available: Extra Blades: .027" Per 24. Broadhead: 125 gr.(3-Blade) Per 6.

"These are absolutely the finest broadheads I've ever used!!
So far I've taken 2 deer with them, one in Montana, one in Idaho, neither deer went more than 75 yds after being hit. Those are the best results I've ever had. I highly recommend these broadheads to anyone who has ever had a good hit but lost the animal because the bloodtrail ran out."

"I have tried many broadheads over the last 25 yrs, including the darn mechanical ones that will deflect and will turn inside a deer and pull the paunch out of the exit hole, closing it up and leaving little or no blood trail. Any broadhead will kill with the perfect shot but when you can buy a broadhead that will allow you to push a shot and perform as good as or better than one that costs double the money, Why would you buy the more expensive one? In my never to be humble opinion, this is the best buy you can get!"

Super Lazer Pro broadheads, March 19, 2008

"I've used these broadheads since they first came out and I've had excellent success. I've lost only one deer out of over 20 hit and that was because an unforcasted rain washed out the blood trail. In all other cases I've had great blood trails and normally complete penetration. Almost half of the deer dropped within sight. I order 4 blade heads and insert only 2 blades. If your bow is tuned properly they will fly great and penetration is excellent. This is one of the few remaining non-compact style broadheads on the market. I'm not a fan of the newer compact heads. I have friends who've had some bad luck with them. I've converted them over to the Super Lazer Pros. I don't believe compact heads have enough blade length to consistantly cut through tough arteries. In addition, the angle of the blades results in a less effective chopping action rather than slicing."

"These are the worst broadheads I have ever seen. The blades did not fit into the ferrule and the tip could not screw on all the way. I sent them back for a refund after trying to put them together. Spend your money on a good name brand broadhead."

"I shot three deer with the Super Lazer Pro this year and all three resulted in broken blades. Only one hit hard bone. Both others were in the vitals. The blades are apparently very week. I've shot other brands of broadheads that have not done this."

"The price is right and they are effective if used only once while shooting a deer but after one shot they come apart and and the tip is broke or blades become dislodged easily. Also, I was disappointed to learn that Cabelas changes the same broadhead shaft so that the current replacement blades will not fit into a point that is, say, a year or two old."
