fixed broadheads,

By MRTOUCHII

"We always used thunderheads until just a few years ago. We were shooting so many wild hogs, that it got expensive. We switched to Cabelas super mini lazers and have had no regrets at all. They are sharper than thunderheads and stay sharp even in the quiver. Excellent product!"

cabelas super mini lazer,

"I purchased these broad heads in the past and had problems. Purchased them again and they still have the same problems with the blades being to long and the washer and arrow are not flush when screwed together. Bad flight out of these. The one that I had where the blades and everything went together flew fine, but not impressed when 1 out 6 go together sent back to cabelas again."

Excellent broadhead!,
August 24, 2009
By nwisconsinarchery

|
"Broadheads are ment to be simple-3 blade replaceable-durable.
These broadheads are simply the best. I have used them for over 15 years. Have shot other 3blade replaceable fixed, these are built better than almost all of them. Have shot expandable heads, and switched back to these.
These heads are at the top of my list. Not a single flaw I can find. Honestly the best broadhead for the money, and I trust these heads for deer, never failed on any of the deer I shot.
I'm very greatfull that Cabelas continues to supply these well made broadheads, and continues to for many years to come."

good little broadhead,
January 8, 2009
By elkslayer21
|
"I bought these first about 15-20 yrs. ago to go on a javelina hunt. to date they have accounted for 7 elk (all one shot kills) deer and javelina. I keep looking at the new broadheads but ask myself, do you want them to expire in 25yds. instead of 30. You can not improve on perfection. #1 with me"

good product,good price,

By 559cahunter

"Good broadhead for the price. I've killed a good mule deer buck and a good tom with these heads, both shots completely passed through and the buck went less than 50 yards. First fixed broadhead I ever used, and i see no reason to change to any other name brand. Only problem was getting them put together, some blades are to loose and others to tight. They shot almost the same where my field points shot, not much adjusting. I'd say give em a try at the price you dont have much to lose!"

Good broadhead for the money,
November 19, 2008
By Gunrunner72
from Westport, KY
|
"These broadheads are great for the money and are very easy to tune for tight groups. The only problem I have had with them is they are kinda difficult to get put together without a little frustration--maybe that was just me though. I would put these broadheads up against many of the much more expensive brands anytime as far as quality and performance."

mini lazer broadhead - excellence at a bargain,
September 22, 2007
By eagleeyeB
from Eugene Oregon
|
"I have been using the 100 grain mini lazer broadheads for about 10 years and they have harvested many deer and elk. Last year I decided I should really try a "major" name broadhead and successfully missed a trophy mule deer due to broadhead plaining. I am back to using the mini lazor which never catches the wind, shoots nearly the same place as a 100 grain target tip (requiring very little time to sight in the broadheads,) and most importantly they are very durable and killing edge sharp. My son and son-in-law as well as friends have all switched to the mini lazer as it is a great bargain and a great broadhead."

Solid Broadhead,
September 8, 2007
By chukarhntr1
from Utah
|
"These broadheads tune well, although not quite a s well as a more compact head, and are very tough. They were shooting with my field points with no additional tuning from my setup last year. I hit a deer with one, and it broke the front leg, two ribs, passed theough the heart and completely throught the other side. The only damage to the head was dulling the blades."

Best head for the price... maybe for any price!,
June 24, 2007
By taysherm
from Mexico Beach, FL
|
"I love these little heads. I've shot them time and time again through hunting and practice. Recently I shot a 150 pound hog. The arrow passed straight through. The hog was down within seconds and my blades were still perfect. I just ordered a new set and a new set of replacements. I'll order them again in the future too! Thank you Cabelas."

Worst flight pattern I have seen..,
June 15, 2007
By Hunter4life
from Olympia,WA
|
"JUNK!!! These heads are the worst ones I have ever used! They cost me 2 deer this last season due to the flight from them. Hitting a pattern of 12" at 20 yds! I got back from my trip and put the old ones I had laying around the house (some satellite heads) and the improvement was 100%. 4" at 20 yds! The next day I got a deer. I thought they would be a "good deal" because of the price but I guess its true-- you get what you pay for... Stick with the name brand of heads guys. My bow was tuned perfectly and these heads did not perform as expected. Cabelas always will be the store for my outdoor needs though and maybe this year I will choose the right heads!"
