"So far, I have only used the right helical clamp with the Blazer Vanes, and it is a pain. I too had to hold down the ends of the vane, and they still don't lay quite right. I wouldn't suggest using right helical with Blazer vanes. I am going to get a straight clamp with an offset instead."

"I purchased my dial o fletch with a stright clamp but after installing a drop away rest I wanted to spin the arrow. I have not tested enough to call this 100% but grouping does seem tighter and flight looks more stable with the helical. The Bitzenburger jig is top shelf quality and looks as though it will last a lifetime, after owning other other less expensive products my advice is to save yourself some time and money buy this one first."

"The Bitzenburger fletcher took a while to set up for the new blazer vanes, and even after it was set up, I still had to hold some vanes tight till the fast fletch set. I would seem that it would have been easier."
