The Bitzenburger Dial-O-Fletch is an all-metal, self-supporting fletching tool that will accept any size shaft and lets you fletch straight, offset, right- and left-helical. A permanent magnet assures uniform placement of all feathers and vanes. A self-centering nock receiver can be adjusted for feather spacing of three-fletch 120°, four-fletch 90°, or four-fletch 75° x 105°. Includes one clamp, instructions, and wrenches. "Got what I wanted for my birthday. I used the straight fletch jig. Check out the front cover of instructions as I overlooked the diagram on front page. I fletched the first 3 arrows of my life in less than a hour. This is great!! Get a clean cloth and alcohol ready for any mess with your glue. Beats driving to town in all that traffic to wait 4 hours and pay $2.00 an arrow. No doubt about this tool,its a must have!!!!"

"There is the Bitzenburger fletcher, and then there are all the others. I have had mine 33 years and it works as good as new. It works flawlessly with feathers either left or right helical and I have both clamps. It, nor any other fletcher for that matter, likes to helical fletch vanes no matter what you do. It will fletch them, but it is a pain because the vanes want to crawl after they are in the clamp.
I've been seriously doing archery for 40 years and there are a few of things I've learned: (1) Feathere are 500 percent lighter than vanes (2) Feathers are much easier to fletch than vanes (3) Feathers are cheaper than vanes (4) Feathers last longer than vanes (5) A torn feather will still shoot straight. A torn vane will not. (6) Five inch helical feathers spin arrows faster than vanes (7) #6 above includes the Quik Spin vanes and I tried both (8) Broadheads fly better when they spin fast (9) Close shots require a fast spin on the arrow
The Bitzenburger fletcher does a better job than all the others out there regardless of price. Buy it and LOVE it!"

"After reading all the reviews, I bought one. I would give it 5 stars except for the following items which I didn't realize or know.
The cock vane will be shot at 9 o'clock, which from what the man at Bitzenburger told me is the norm. I have always shot with the cock vane at 12 o'clock. To change, you must by another nock holder. If you do not change and fudge the set up, you will have to rotate your nock several degrees to align cock vane and nock properlyy to shoot at 12 o'clock. The problem surfaces when you want to replace one vane. It is virtually impossible to realign everything to get 120 degree separation. I ended up redoing all three vanes until I finally decided to call the company.
Set up, as others have mentioned, is not the easiest. Instructions could be better, and the dials do not turn easy unless very loose. A video showing setup would have been great!
I did get to talk to a real human after only 2 rings who helped right there on the spot! No holding on the line or tranferring me from person to person. Five stars for service.
When I did fletch all three at one time, it did a great job. I shoot carbon arrows, with 2 inch vanes and a right helical twist. Shoots great groups."

"I have owned this Bitz. Dial o fletch for at least 20 years. Its the best out there and now I have two so I can speed up the time it takes me to make my arrows. If you think its too expensive try having your local archery shop fletch up some arrows for you at a moments notice before the season opens. Being able to make your arrows when you need them is priceless."

"Fletching new arrows is very easy. I am able to fletch an arrow every couple minutes. The only problem I have had is with small nocks. When you make it to the last vane, you have to double check that the nock didn't slip a little in the dial. Other than that there is a reason it is the most expensive fletching device."

"I recently purchased this fletcher because my other fletcher had trouble fletching 'Blazer' vanes with an offset. This fletcher does it perfect! Very easy to set up and use.
