Arizona E-Z Fletch Aluminum,

By RTPJr

"Just received my E-Z fletch and fletched a dozen old arrows and a dozen given to me by a friend that were fletched wrong for my capture rest. This took me about an hour while I watched American Idol. After that, I shot the arrows, giving them only about 15 minutes to dry. My groups were the same as with new arrows and I am totally impressed with this tool. The arrows are 2117 Camo Hunters and the vanes are 4" Plastifletch, which includes the gel glue. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting a quality fletching jig. No problems at all!!"

quick and easy,

"This thing does not need someone skilled to get your arrows fletched. I use this with quick spins. it is a little tricky getting the thick parts in but that is the hardest part. I have refletched 3 or 4 arrows the night before a hunt several times. PS.-keep the cap and fletcher in a bag together i have lost it twice, but the company is great to deal with.
this is a great value for the money."

great fletcher,
November 8, 2008

"I needed something cheaper than going to my bow shop every time I needed an arrow re-fletched and having them do it so a bought the Arizona E-Z fletcher. I'm 13 and re-fletch all my arraws myself. The hardest part was to get the fletching off of the arrow so I use rubbing alcohol and a razor blade. It really only takes 5 minutes to fletch and let the glue dry and then you have a perfect arrow. I would suggest using Supper glue to glue the vanes on because the glue I used that was made for the vanes wouldn't bond the vane to the arrow for more than 3 shots and my bow is only set at 55lb and go's 110 fps. maby if you run a buisness go with a nicer one but if not deffenitly go with this one!"

Does well if your vanes are straight,
September 29, 2008
By LakerTeacher
from Detroit Lakes, MN
|
"I bought the straight fletcher (1 degree right offset) and it does a great job if you have straight vanes out of the package. If the vane is not perfectly straight or already curving correctly then the fletcher does not straighten them out. The glue dries and you end up ripping them off because you can see the vanes are not attached correctly. I bought the Arizona Elite Plastifletch 4" vanes."

Mediocre at best,
August 18, 2008
By chocolabsrule

"The Arizona E-Z fletch opens allowing you to insert all three fletchings at once, apply glue to fletches, insert arrow and close the arms. In practice it is very difficult to close all 3 arms evenly without dislodging at least on fletching. I can get passable results with Vanes and the off-set version. The helical version won't hold feathers properly, and its even difficult to apply vanes. There is also no way to adjust the amount of helical, so if you don't get good contact with 6 degrees the fletcher is worthless. Also, the nock reciever is hard to see, and sometimes you aren't sure if the nock is engaged or not. I highly recommend a jo-jan mono-fletch over this jig. it will do any fletch orientation, and works excellent with vanes or feathers it can also be adjusted for the amount of helical."

Quick, Affordable, and Reliable,

"This fletching tool is compact and great for doing a few arrows at a time or repairs. It is versatile to do any type of fletch you want. Only con is that when you do more than 5 or 6 flecthings with feathers the glue begins to build up and stick a bit, you have to be very clean and neat when you apply the glue."

Best thing since sliced bread !!,
June 25, 2007
By shaun748

"After using a nice single clamp fletch jig for the last several years I have come to choose this EZ Fletch jig every time now. I will admit that the single clamp jig allows more adjustments and can allow better precision, so if I were a pro or tournament archer that would still be my choice. However if you want to fletch arrows fast, and with all the precision 99% of us will ever need, the EZ fletch is the way to go. Plus I usually hunt with a homemade hickory longbow so a 1/16th difference in feather placement ain't noticeable anyway. I fletch with feathers and the the only issue I have found is that sometimes the butt of one feather can be twisted off a bit. I have found that if I close the jig, then evenly space out the arms with a flathead screwdrivers it helps minimize any issues, of course this might not be a problem with plastic fletch. The arms do provide a tight fletch/shaft fit and there was no issue with gaps. Even so I decided to use a large keyring to slide over the middle portion of the closed arms to make sure there was a snug fit at the middle also. I also shoot wooden arrows and these can be an issue since some wood arrows are thicker than aluminum, so if you use thick wood arrows it might not work( I used it with a 5/16th ramin dowel arrow and it was a tight fit). My aluminums work fine-from 1716's -2219's All in all I used to dread beginning to work on a dozen arrows with a single clamp jig. But now with this EZ fletch and trusty super glue I can do a dozen arrows in about 15-20 minutes.. also I never wasted money on teflon tape and whatnot. I fletch with superglue, so to ensure parts don't glue together I occassionalyy spray WD-40 on my jig clamp and especially on this EZ fletch jig.. Never had anything bind up yet."

"last fall was my first attempt at fletching my own arrows, the Arizona E-Z fletch made it easy. have fletched 3 dozen arrows with it (both carbons and aluminums) and every arrow turned out perfect. great for beginners or those who have been doing this a while, and small enough for you to be able to pack it away on your trip to camp."
