Great Performance Poor Usability,November 21, 2009

"I bought these arrows this year to try them out and from a shooting standard they're great fly true and penetrate deeper than anything I've shot but the problem comes with the micro diameter feature of these arrows unless you buy a special quiver the arrows don't quite fit snug in a standard arrow quiver and as a result I have had 3 arrows with broadheads fall out of my quiver while hunting 2 of which were never found which is a pretty pricey loss. So with that I would have to say I would not recommend these arrows because I have better things to worry about while stalking game through the brush than whether or not my arrows will stay in my quiver and be there when I reach for one!"

"I found one of these with a Muzzy broadhead on a hunting trip in January ’08. At the time I knew nothing about Beman MFX arrows, but I looked it up on the internet and it just happened to be the correct spine and length for my bow. I shot it and liked it so well I ordered a half dozen to try them out. They are hard hitting, easy to tune, and proved very accurate with my Muzzy MX-3 broadheads. I put these six arrows through many practice sessions and harvested three deer this season with them and they are still good as new. As for penetration, the draw weight on my compound bow is 55 lbs and all of the shots on the three deer completely passed through. In one case the arrow flew another 35 yards before hitting the ground after a broadside lung shot. Also, as an added bonus, one of the deer I took was with the arrow and broadhead that I originally found."

"I have been shooting Easton alluminum arrows for about 13 years and love them. I decided this year was the time to try carbon arrows and bought some of these beman's. I was totally impressed with the straightness and improved shooting accuracy of the arrow. Plus I shoot an older high country bow with a whisker bisket rest. Lets just say that I did not even have to change my bisquit. At fourty yards, my shot is center mass. Now the test will be getting real deal in the woods."

"WELL I BOUGHT THESE FOR MY FIANCE FOR CHRISTMAS. HER BOW HAS A WHISKER BISCUIT REST WHICH INTERFERED BADLY WITH THE FLITE OF THE ARROW DUE TO THE WIDTH OF THE BLAZER VEINS. THEY WERE PASSING TOO CLOSE TO THE OUTSIDE RIM OF THE REST AND BENDING THE VEINS. I WISH I WOULD HAVE KNOWN THIS AHEAD OF TIME. SO I HAD TO TRIM A LITTLE OFF OF EVERY VEIN. THEY SHOOT BETTER BUT NOT PERFECT."

"I bought these arrows to find out if the advertising claims were true. I have only shot them at a target, but I can already attest to two things. They fly straight and penetrate better than any others I have tried. My first shot (at 20 yards) went right in the bullseye and clear through the target, hitting the old board I had placed behind it. The arrow was not damaged. My bow is set at 44 lbs draw weight. My target is 10 inches thick and made by Morrell."
