Very nice, October 26, 2009
By omegabuck1 from Fort Worth, Tx

"I like that broadheads, I really do. They fly true and they penetrate well. The only thing I have a problem with is the fact that they preach how sharp they are out of the box. They might be sharp enough to kill a Deer coming out of the box, but I wouldn't consider them sharp! They're blades and you should be able to shave with them, these would just tear you up if you tried. They will hold an edge though, so that's a great thing. Overall ... I'm happy."

Muzzy Broadheads, October 20, 2009
By goodforgoose from SD

"Just about what you would expect from Muzzy . . . a good stout cut-on-contact broadhead . . . well made and durable. The only reason that I didn't give them 5 stars was because some of the broadheads make my aluminum arrows rattle (even in flight) no matter how firmly I tighten the broadhead down."

broadhead, September 23, 2009
By DUSTIN01 from Fort Worth Texas

"Could not get these head to fly straight. I changed tried 3 different shafts, tried changing fletchings of 1 degree right.
quick spin vanes with 1 dgree right, quick spin helical to right
5 inch feathers at 1 degree and 5 inch feathers at 6 degrees
right. Enough time spent.

Strong blades, do not fly straight, September 20, 2009
By Lirette from Louisiana

"I bought these broadheads for my Diamond Marquis. I was practicing with them today from about 30 yards, but they are not consistant. Most of my shots were very low, but a few were high. They definately do not fly like the field tips. The blades are sharp, and they do seem to be durable. I wil be returing them to the Cabelas retail store in Gonzalas LA."

Muzzy Phantom Broadheads, September 11, 2009
By superflash from Stokes county, King, North Carolina

"I have used Both the 100 grain and the 125 grain Muzzy Phantom Broadheads, in the past few seasons and I am very pleased with their quality construction, and extremely durable, rock solid performance. I am currently shooting the 100 grain Muzzy Phantoms, and they shoot right with my 100 grain target points, and that is very rare to have your broadheads and target points hit the same, and I am shooting out to 70 yards with my 2006 BowTech, Tribute. These broads come right out of the packageing razor sharp Like they should. That is something I cannot say for some of the other High dollar broadheads. I am very pleased with this product, and I will buy the same in the future when I need more."

Second Year of Use on One Broadhead, March 10, 2009
By jt300zx from Lenexa, KS

"I was reading thru some of the reviews and seen a couple people had complaints about the phantoms are one hit wonders. I have one (100gr) that I have used on 4 deer thus far, 8pt, 5pt, and two does. Here is the true testament, one of the does, I hit a rib going in, one out, and dead center bone of her left upper leg. My arrow got about half way out before she fell about 20 yards from where I shot her. It did bend the tip a bit, but I bent it back and sharpened it back up and used it this year. My dad and brother-in-law switched to the phantoms the next day. Now, I can also say, if you are shooting past 30yards, you want longer fletching (not blazers) and a lot of helical (Sorry whisker fans) and you will have no problems. This head preforms alot like the old Bear SS's without the bleeder blade brakage."

"This broad head is great for deer aswell as big game. Ive only used it on deer, but you can really tell if you hit them. It leaves massive short blood trails for a quick kill and easy retreival."

Amazing pass-through, November 12, 2008
By Louisianadeerhunter from Monroe, Louisiana

"I have taken 3 whitetails (one last season and two this year) and all three shots have been pass through shots. I shoot the 125 grain (with bleeder blades) and have been very happy. I did bend one of the tips when the arrow passed through the deer and stuck in a tree, but I don't mind a broadhead breaking as long as I get the game."

Muzzy Phantom Broadheads, October 14, 2008
By 1018 from Ocala, FL

"I normally use the three blade muzzy broadhead with the hard point. I bought these (100 grain) and the first day out I shot a 210 pound wild hog from 22 yards away. Clean through shot resulting in significant evidence for tracking (more damage than the three blade I used). I cleaned the arrow and placed it back in my quiver. You can't tell which arrow I harvested the hog with. Still razor sharp and not a single nick on the blades. Arrow flight was true and without wobble. I use a Mathews Switchback bow with a 70 lb draw weight."

Can't use on fast bows, September 28, 2008
By Lankeri from Moses Lake, WA

"These were my first choice in arrows this year but after 2 weeks of sighting in frustration I swtiched to another 3 blade broadhead and didn't have a problem. The issue is that with a fast bow there isn't enough fletching to stabalize the broadhead in flight. Each one on it's own was fairly accurate, but they would plane different and I had some shooting WAY high and right, one left, couple low, and one that was a guess every shot. IF each broadhead was set EXACTLY the same to the fletchings and spine of EACH arrow, then I think you could map the plane affect and possibly sight them in. If not don't expect to shoot past 30 yards at best. Me personly, I like to have a little bit more distance than that just in case the monster is 60 yards in the open."

best performer yet, September 24, 2008
By KatfishKrazy

"even on hard angle shots the cut on contact blade has not deflected and the blood trails have been unbelievable. 4 deer and 1 black bear in the freezer so far and all were quick kills and easy blood trails. Also with quick spin vanes and shooting over 300fps there is no wind plane."

Great Broadhead, September 24, 2008
By ducks365

"I have used the phantom broad head for years now, Before Muzzy bought the broad head from an outfit from Colorado. They worked great on my moose bear caribou and deer. I shoot them with my black widow. As for Fred Eichler endorsing them he has good reason his wife owns muzzy. I will shoot phantom broad heads for years to come. If it's not broken don't fix it."

Amazing Penetration, September 9, 2008
By zzhart from Nothern Wyoming

"These broadheads are amazing. Last year I shot my bull elk at 50 yards and got a complete pass-through. He didn't even make it 100 yards before he kealed over dead. Fred Eichler endorses them heavily and he made a believer out of me and I know you too will become a believer."

Muzzy 100 grain phantom, August 27, 2008
By HntElk from Chehalis, Wa.

"I shot an elk using the 125 grain phantom. The shot deflected off a fir branch hitting the raghorn in the neck. The bull dropped in his tracks. The broadhead penetrated a neck vertabre severing the spinal cord. The broadhead is still in one piece and lodged in the bone. I cut the vertebre out and is sitting in my shop as testament to an awesome broadhead."

Good Blades, October 22, 2007
By traditional12 from Pennsylvania

"Good strong blades. Extremely sharp and look great. Muzzy is the only way to go in my opinion. My friend has a set of the MX-3's and shot his into a rock pile shooting at a fox and the blades are still sharp enough to cut through a deer."
