Only one use,October 26, 2009
By mallarddrake85from Southern Illinois
"I have shot these broadheads for some time now and it seems that with every deer that I harvest, there is minimal blood, even with pass throughs, but it seems that all deer fall in sight of where they were shot. I shot a doe on October 2 of this year at 6 yards, through her front shoulder and out just behind her back shoulder, she ran 60 yards before taking the nose dive, in sight of my tree stand. There was no blood except at her final resting spot. My arrow was only hanging inside of her by the fletches. There was blood all over where she fell but no trail at all. Also it seems that no matter where I hit a deer, the tip of these broadheads seems to bend. But we can send em back to the company and they'll replace em. I love that I can get these broadheads razor sharp which is something that you can't do with all broahead designs. So other than just one use out of these broadheads and minimal blood, they are great broadheads."

just say no,September 4, 2009
By skybowhunterfrom wichita ks
"i bought these to use with one of my recure bows but i could not get any of them to spin straight after alot of tinkering i finally tuned three out of six that spun fair the first one that i shot the head came off of the adapter and stayed in the target. i have shot some older magnus 125 grn broadheads for years with no problems it seems that the magnus qaulity has gone downhill in a big way"

Good Broadheads,June 16, 2009
By patrick75021from Denison, TX
"These are well made and balanced. They aren't shaving sharp right out of the package, but that isn't hard to fix. Everyone should know how to sharpen their broadheads. I haven't taken any animals with these yet, but have tried the 125-grain two-blade model out on straw bales. They penetrate well and fly just like field points out of my #50 Great Plains recurve."

Pre-assembled ???,February 10, 2009
By Talkeminfrom Iowa
"Shot three of these heads into my block target, two of which remain in the target as the lack of adhesive between the broadhead & insert let them come apart. Must be some pretty good steel cause they sure ruin arrows that they contact within the target. Thanks no."

Do not shoot like practice tips, sorry Ted,January 20, 2009
By Sharpsticker
"Only bought them because Ted Nugent swears they shoot exactly like practice tips. They shoot 10 inches different at 20 yards. I will be screwing the muzzys back onto my sticks now. I shoot a 70 pounds mathews, maybe these broadheads work better with recurves."

One shot wonder,January 5, 2009
By pnyhntr10ptfrom Des Moines, Ia
"Okay I do really like these but as far as I'm concerned they are only good for one shot and then they're just for practice. I shot them for a while out of a low poundage bow when I was younger and managed to always blow threw even on double shoulder shots. I also curently use them on my 40lb recurve and have had great penatration. The problem is when they hit the dirt, small rock, small branch or any bone they curl big time. With enough work a good file and sharpener I've been able to get them back into shape but with a much less consistent tip. At the price they're worth picking up a new pack every year but if you want to reuse I'm not a fan."

Magnus 2-blade broadheads,October 6, 2008
By EasternCTbowhunterfrom Connecticut
"I have tried everything from Muzzy to Slick tricks for my bow. I have tried every combination of blades, 3 blade, 4 blade and mechanicals. The magnus 2-blade broadheads have given me the most consistency and the quietest arrow flight out of them all. The placement for me is really great with these broadheads. The only downside that I have found is that sometimes the tips of the broadheads get a little dinged up when hitting my target ( I have been able to re-straighten them and sharpen them with a smooth stone though). These are the broadheads that I will buy for the rest of my life!"

Magnus 125 grain BH,September 22, 2008
By Hassle
"Fast delivery. BHs spin true. One adapter has bad threads. Not using it because it will damage insert threads. May send it back to Magnus (lifetime gaurantee) for replacement or chase the threads when I get time."

They really mean "Lifetime Guarantee",June 17, 2008
By MattFbowhunterfrom Center Barnstead, NH
"I recently ordered and received a package of these 2-blade 100 grain broadheads and I set up an arrow to practice with. I shoot an older Bear Grizzly recurve and these things have awesome penetration in my bag target. I had a problem with one broadhead when I missed and sent an arrow deep in the ground. I must have hit a root and when I pulled out the arrow I lost the blade of the broadhead but still had its insert. I emailed Magnus and they sent me a new broadhead First Class and I had it in two business days! (Plus a sticker.) I have had no problems since. Great product, great company, great customer service. After this experience, I see no reason to ever shoot anything else."

two blade shoots very much like target head.,October 11, 2007
By wil49from fresno, calif
"The Magnus two blade broadhead didn't need any adjustments or balancing. I just screwed them on and they shot right where I pointed them. The reason I got them was to see if they would pull out of the broad head target I had-- they did. I think they will work for hunting also--they sharpen very easy also."

Magnus 2 Blade Broadheads,September 11, 2007
By NDTerminatiorfrom Devils Lake ND
"I'm a Traditional archer/bowhunter. I demand a high quality, accurate, deadly broadhead, but refuse to pay $10 or more apiece for them. The answer is 125 grain screw-in Magnus 2 Blades. They are accurate, simple to setup on a shaft, and can be sharpened to a hair shaving edge. Out of the package, it 's a simple job of maybe two minutes per head to do so with a G5 Sharpener. Tip: To prevent having the point roll over upon hitting bone (which can & does happen), grind it back to a flat chisel tip approx. 1/8" wide, like a Bear Razorhead..."

These Things are tough (125 grain),September 6, 2007
By Justin204from Franklin, Pa
"I'm a recurve man myself. Anything you can hunt with a recurve my brothers and I hunt it. My brother first started using these many years ago. Then he got me hooked on them. We've hunted deer, squirrels, rabbits, pheasants in the air, or just stump shooting around the house. So what I'm getting at is these broadheads are so tough. My brothers and I have never once broke one out of all the years we've shot them. You can shoot these year after year. You hunt deer with them then with the same broadhead hunt small game. Then next year you just shapen them up and go hunting out in the deer woods again. They're just that good. Now when it comes to deer, they do great. Awesome penetration and great blood trails. One more point I want to bring up. Like I said earlier I'm a recurve man. So with that, shooting them out of our recurves they fly just like field pionts. But I don't know how they will fly out of these new high speed bows. So If you're a traditional archery hunter who wants a broadhead that you can hunt anything with them year after year, this is the broadhead your looking for."

The two blade,November 27, 2006
By Masterbowmanfrom Colorado
"I'v shot a recurve for the last 31 years and used the Zwickey Delta broadhead, But the last 2 years I'v used the Magnus 2 blade and my arrow flight with my cedar shafts is better and the Magnus broad head also keeps a better edge and easier to sharpen.
