"The vanes and glue worked well on my Beaman ICS hunter arrows. The gel set up in a few seconds, and I was unable to pull the vanes off. They shot well through my biscuit rest, but only time will tell how well the vanes hold up ."

"vanes and glue worked well no trouble at all I shoot alot and keep hitting vanes on arrows in target so replace some .glue works good no problem comming loose. No running did 70 vanes with 1 tube"

"Awesome vanes!!!! I used these with the Arizona fletching tool and had no problems. The gel glue "that was included" is great. I was shooting very soon after fletching the arrows. The tip on the glue container is small enough to put the right amount of glue on the vane without getting it on the tool and cleanup was minimal. Buy it!!"

"I thought the vanes were pretty good, and fit well, but I was extremely disappointed with their glue. It is nothing but privately branded gel Super-Glue. There is also not quite enough to glue all of the 50 vanes that came in the pack. It was unforgiving, and messy. By all means, don't accidentally put too much on. It left a white residue on the vanes and shaft. I have used Fletch-tite before, and it was somwhat flexible. This was not. After shooting at my target, I found that the vanes that entered target tore easily along the glued edge."

"I have used these to refletch some arrows for practice. They have held up well so far, even when an arrow passes completely through the straw target. They are stiff, but not too stiff. I shoot off the shelf of my recurve with them and they perform well."

"These are excellent vanes. Very light with a thin base and very consistent from one to the next. No problems with bonding to carbon or aluminum shafts. I shoot with heavy helical fletch and broadheads fly great. No lost vanes with fastset gel."

"These are decent fletching but dont like the bottom of the fletching they are just flat and are easyer to pull off if happen to shoot through a target, dont like the fastset gel tried it on only one arrow and discolored it white but the gel is a very strong, if you can be ok with the discoloring then these will be good fletchings."

"I've been using AAE Vanes now for 10+ years and I'll tell you there is "none better" out there!!! I have a JoJan Mono fletch jig. I have my jig set at about 1degree offset which allows good arrow spin and I shoot traditional cut on contact broadheads. These vanes hold up very well!! The aspect I like is it takes about 15 seconds per vane setup time and you can immediately take that arrow out and shoot it! 1 minute from the time you start fletching till you start shooting. Nothing wrong with that,plus if you happen to hit a soft spot in your bag target and bury that arrow up past the vanes they will still be attached when you remove the arrow. Wrinkled yes but what vane doesn't when buried up in a target? The cleaning the arrow shaft is no big deal either. New shafts lightly sand the fletch area with fine sand paper then wipe clean with rubbing alchol. When dry fletch! Don't panic if you run out of "Fast Set Gel" it's nothing more than Superglue Gel which can be used just as effectively! I have been using the 5" vane but recently noticed while shooting with friends the 5" are a lot louder in flight than the 4". So I tested the 4s and they stablize my arrows just as well but are a LOT quieter in flight. I'm no archery expert but if you want a Durable,dependable ,long lasting vane at a reasonable price then you better buy AAE!!!! There is None better out there!!!! Good Luck and Good Hunting"

"I had some trouble getting these vanes to adhere to the shaft the full length of the vane. They do not set flat when placed on a level surface. If you allow them to dry completely before placing another vane I don't think you will have a problem. They do not seem to have the resiliency that other vanes I have used on my arrows. Overall they are a decent vane."

"Great vanes. Very durable when shot through my whisker biscut rest. This last lot seemed to be slightly thicker than those I have purchased in the past. Had to readjust my Jig to get them to fully make contact with the shaft when applied. Still seemed to be of the same quality though but have not shot the newly fletched arrows yet."

"These vanes are an excellent joice. What I like best is the Fastset Gel that comes with the vanes. The only downfall I see with this setup is the suggested cleaning of the shafts with an abrasive cleanser if you are using the Fastset Gel. The Fastset Gel dries extremely fast & using a very sparingly amount is also a plus."
