"I was having problems with the string nok because my release would not slide over it ( it is one of those with the two metal balls that slide apart to release the string) and with this it puts my peep sight right on and I do not have any problems with my release. I think it slows my arrow down but I have not ran it trough the crono so I do not know for sure. I does cause a lot of noise but not enough to matter in my opinion."

"I never had much luck with string loops. I added one of these and it keeps the peep aligned perfectly. I have used the same one for almost 10 years now with no wear issues using a tru-fire release. Definitely need to make sure there is enough clearance on your setup so it doesn't hit anything. A great product if you hate string loops and peep aligner tubes. Also makes it easy to attach your release."

"Works very well if you have a string stopper on your bow. I shoot a Bowtech with one in the middle and one at the bottom. You can adjust it so it turns your peep to where you want it so you don't need a rubber tube. It is what it is , If your a guy or girl who like string loops you probably won't like it, if your like me and don't trust the string loops, you'll love it!"

"I loosed exactly 2 arrows with this nock loop and that was one more than it took to decide to remove it right away. i took a couple of shots with my string loop then switched to the ultra nok xl. it was easy enough to put on and aligned the peep perfectly, but it put my release clip no closer to the string than a badly tied loop. it easily tripled the amount of noise from my guardian. also, the nock hit me in the wrist. i am not talking about string slap on my forearm, i mean it made my string travel so far forward after the shot that it literally hit me in the base of my thumb. i am very happy with my QAD ultra rest, just not this product. it is a great idea, but needs to be refined into a more compact and lightweight design. should work great at lower draw weights, as for me, i will use a drop of goat-tuf glue on my loop and string to keep my loop and peep aligned."

"Great product! Well made and will last forever. Very easy to install and adjust as needed. I can never get a string loop right, but with this I can adjust as needed if I switch rest or whatever."

"I never had any problems with this until I got a mathews drenalin. Everytime I shoot it the nock hits the roller guards and causes denting, but other than that it is really nice, you can get your release on in a hurry if needed and they last a very long time."

"I have used the Ultr-Nok on several bows. It is a great product! You need to have an STS (string suppressor) on your bow however. If you do not have some sort of STS this product will add noise. Without some sort of STS the ultra-nok will make contact on some bows. That being said the Ultra-Nok is a great product for the archer who knows his equipment. If you are a bow hunter there is no better nok. I have tried string loops and did not care for them."

"This was easy to set up but the extra noise that it added to my bow was not worth it. I have a super quiet bow and when i installed this product it made my bow very noisy...would not recomend for hunting......"

"This nock works great with the Winn Archery C-10 Free Flight release, which can sometimes have problems latching properly onto a flimsly string loop. I've been using it for several years and just bought a new one for my new bow."

"I am not a fan of string loops. (often difficult to get release on it in a hurry) No problem with this product, you don't even have to look to snap your release on it. Plus you can position it on your string so that at full draw your peep is always in the correct position.(no more rotated peep sights) As far as durability complaints from other reviewers, I have had none. I would definitely recommend this one."

"I would not use this nok if you are reading this .I bought it and put it on my new Parker Bow and it hits my cabels and makes alot of noise.This product is junk and Cabelas should remove it from their store."

"i recently switched to the ultra nok from a regular string loop because the rope loops wore out to wuickly. i bought theultra nok about 3 weeks ago and it broke allready! the metal loop snapped in half. the string loops are much cheaper and easier to install."

"I would recommend this to anyone who bow hunts with a release. It helps so much with accuracy and it helps hold the arrow on the rest. I can hold my bow sideways and the arrow doesnt fall off. Great investment."
