"Being relatively new to the "new" equipment availble for archery, I didn't know what these were supposed to do, but they take the "twang" of the bowstring and make into a quieter "thunk" with no reverberation. I would say these are a must for almost any bow outfit unless you want something synthetic or more high tech looking."

"Definately adds a touch of the past to your bow! Look better and perform better than the "spiders" when installed properly.
One word of caution - Squirrels see them and go nuts! They will sit there and bark at you!
Overall a must for the archer looking to improve his or her bow's performance and that look from the past!"

"The Beaver Hide String Silencers are a great product. The greatly reduced the sound of the string on my traditonal recurve bow and added a touch of traditon that yarn or rubber silencers could not. Great product, great look and very easy to install. I greatly recomend them."
