"The hooks make it easier to put on than the plastic slide in holders while wearing gloves. Very adjustable to fit many arm sizes. If nothing else it keeps the string from hitting your jacket sleeve."

"Well, I don't have a big blue-green bruise on my left arm anymore, so I think it works fine. It's not hot like the leather one I used to have; it's a real improvement over other designs. If I have any complaints, they would be in regards to the clips that hold them on- they bend a little when you use the guard and I'm hoping they don't snap off when I'm bending them back into shape. But if they do, I can probably fix them with something sturdier, so I'm not really concerned. I'm very satisfied with my purchase overall."

"I am new to archery and on occasion I smack my arm with the string and it leaves me bruised by the end of the day. Now with this gaurd I no longer feel pain and can practice longer. Also on the cold days when I wear a sweater the gaurd the sweater out of the way."
