"Bought this tube to protect an old bamboo rod. Very sturdy and heavy. It appears to be sealed against humidity, which was the selling point for me. This is a much better tube than those that come with most factory rods."

"great cylinder , however the screw end was not attached at the end. I had to use masking tape to hold screw end on. After trip I epoxy the ends and now its a charm."

"This is a high quality rod tube; sturdy and well constructed. My only complaint is that it doesn't have a loop or other method to pass a strap through while tied on a backpack. That would give me a little more peace of mind that my prized pack rod won't slide out of the straps. I'm pleased overall."
