"on day with one of the poppers i caught 253 in a hour and a half. I had to stop cuase i only brought that fpopper and the turned it in to just a hook with tread.

The place i fished that day was a local community pond and they were sunfish"

"These were thw worst made popping bugs I have ever seen. They couldnt even float much lerss pop."

Pan fish 5, not so good for large mouth bass, January 4, 2007

"The assortment has great flies for blue gill or other pan fish. For the money you can't beat this deal. If you are planning on bass with an occasional pan fish, this is not the assortment for you. I fly fish nearly every time I fish at all, while I had great luck on sun fish, I couldn't get the bass real interested. I would get an occasional pounder, but no monsters and the pond I fish is private and I have hooked up to 8# Large Mouths.

One of the nicest things about this kit is you get more than one of everything and can share with your buddy if you are getting hits and he isn't. The color spectrum will fit any condition. The box will last as long as the flies and is also a nice addition to keep your poppers together.

Great set up Cabelas, now put together a real assortment of some big mouth bass flies :)"
