"Put it on a AR-10 308 flattop. I really use it for long range shooting even though its not made for that. I have it zero'ed at 3 hundred yards and to change the elevation requires the allen wrench, but the half minute adjustment clicks can be heard on a windy day if held close to a ear. This thing is more accurate than my 10 power super sniper scope. Dont know why but the 2 minute dot is the perfect size and its more natural to hold the dot on target than crosshairs. Wish the elevation adjustment could be turned by fingers. It sits higher than the iron sights but its the best and lightest sight I can find for the $$."

"I mounted my ATN to a Ar-57 upper and I have had good luck with it to date. The only thing I think could be better on this product would be some sort of small guard over the optics to prevent dammage from impacts during rough use. I was impressed with the accuracy you can achieve with the small dot setting on this unit."

"Have the sight mounted to the new Colt M4 22 cal. rifle. required adjustment to be spot on - minimal, accuracy - impressive. With 30 round magazines (3-total) this rifle goes through the ammo and is a hoot to shoot...but this review is about the scope...having fired it without and then with including sighting in has made the accuracy much improved. We will see how it holds up which is why it is a four star and not five star rating."

"This sight is a piece of junk. After 40 rounds of .223 in an AR 15 it would no longer hold adjustment of the reticle. There are better sights on the market for less money that work fine on AR style weapons!"

"With old eyes, iron sights just don't cut it anymore, with the red sot sight I can get on target with ease. Easy to use as long as you don't look into dirext sun light."

"I bought 3 of the previous model of Ultra Sight. Two had shorts, out of the box. The ON/OFF Switch on the 3rd has now failed after very limited use. Nothing but expensive junk!"

"Though i waited over a month (due to back order) this little gem was simple to sight in. I can not atest to the durability as mine is mounted on a 10/22 but I maintaned 1 inch groupsat 50 yrd all day. yes get one"

"This is a very good sight, i am waiting for two more that are on back order! They are worth the wait! Rugged, snug when finger tightened firmly, and holds zero excellently when banging away at the range with .223 and 12Ga. Performs like a sight that costs 4X more!"

"I mounted this sight on my .45 colt 1911 gold cup and used it shooting steel plates. It performed perfectly, has a great selection of bright reticles and once sighted in stayed accurate after shooting over 500 hot rounds."

"It is very hard to sight in, and if your doing it in the sun forget it, the dot isn't bright enough. it's a good 22 sight, has good targiting, and if you get it sighted in, it's quick. I took it off my r-15, and put it on my 10/22 now I'm happy. Good for a 22 nothing more."

"This sight is different than shown in book and box, but Its better with the new controls. No removal to change battery. All pushbutton. I bore sighted it first with a laser on my living room. I dialed it in to the laser spot and it was in the black 2 inches to the right at the range. Ive only used it on a .22 auto but its holding up well after 5000 rds. Good price, easy to use, worth the price."

Not bad for small calibers,

"My wife and I picked up two of these. One for her Mini-14 ranch and one for my GSG-5 (MP-5 in .22lr). It works great for the .22 and after about 300 rounds it is still holding zero. The jury is still out on the .223 only has about 200 rounds through it and is still holding zero fine. Time will tell if it will handle long term abuse.
The models that we got were not the same as pictured. The controls are push buttons located on the side of the frame and the battery is on the back of the frame where the knob is located in the picture. This of course is a bonus because it means we don't need to take them off the rails to change out the battery when the time comes. Operation is simple, the brightness of the reticule is great for the sunniest of days, and target acquisition was cake. For a hundred bucks each ... it was worth a shot.
The only complaint, they don't like the cold. It was about 30 degrees outside when we tried them out and the wouldn't turn on till after a few rounds were fired. Guess they needed a jolt or something.
Overall we are pleased with them. We will update this after we get some more abuse on them. If they hold up... we may get one more for my sons 10/22. Rabbits and squirrels beware."

"I purchased this product and it was backordered which I did not mind, but what did bother me was the unit shipped to me was a refurbished unit. It had screwdriver marks on the mounting screws. I do not fault Cabela's because the unit was sealed from ATN. Be careful when buying from ATN."

"i purchased this ultrasight for my 12guage slug gun worked fine at first after it sat for a couple of weeks would not turn on sent back for an exchange recieved new one this one seems to be better it was packaged different than first one sent to me.not sure if first one was a refurbished one.hopefully new one works better cant wait to try it next year it has more brightness settings comparied to other sights like this time will tell."

Ultra sight on AR,

"I installed this sight on my AR .223 and have been fully satisfied with the performance and accurracy. With a good rest and 60 year old eyes , I was able to shoot 1.5" groups at 100yds. with my reloads and a 16" barrel. I notice very little , if any , change in impact point when changing reticle shapes and the brightness was adequate even over a field of snow on a sunny day. I also found that by mounting the sight in a vertical alignment with the carry handle front post , full usage of the handle is preserved in contrast to the more tube type 'dot' sights. The drawbacks---battery replacement will be difficult without removal as the clearance with this type of mount is not sufficient to remove the cap and battery. Resign yourself to spending a few rounds of ammo to verify impact point after changing the battery or allow for more clearance under the sight. I would also like to see a dust cover included as even inexpensive scopes now come with caps. I found an infants bootie works but I'm a little embarrassed at the pink!
