"Found this product to be of excellent quality, easy to install, and a good buy. Installed in a Ford F150 V8 and received a boost in gas mileage as well as surprising throttle response. I like the way if cleans up the under the hood clutter."

"I bought this for my '99 Dodge Ram and was suprised to find my gas milage actually decreased. There was no increased throttle response as stated in some of the ads. The only difference I noted was an increase in intake air noise with hard accell. The intake tube cracked into pieces and was sucked down into the engine. I'm thankfull they used cheap plastic to make it otherwise it may have caused engine damage. I tried to call K&N but got the run around and was told there was nothing they would do. I later found out that this was common and that there are car manufacturer service bullitins warning against the use and possible damage caused by this product."
