"Does the job...eventually. It does not really get hot enough though. I have to add rocks to it to get the heat close enough to the food to cook it. I like the convenience of the locking lid and handle. Wish there was room inside to stowe the propane bottle while carrying without having to rearrange the greasy interior. Overall an OK product but if you want to cook steaks, better go for something hotter with more BTU's."

"We needed a grill for vacation use after fighting with the junk they provide at the beach rentals. I bought this back in spring and have used it for two week long trips over the summer. Obviously I can't speak to longevity as yet but I am thrilled with how it cooks. I have a full sized gas Weber at home and I love cooking on it so I thought I'd give this midget a try. The thing that impressed me the most is how hot it gets. Especially with the lid on, this baby cooks stuff in a flash. It made beautiful medium rare steaks in no time and grilled fresh caught Mahi Mahi in minutes. It packs well and is easy to set up. My only recommendation is for easy cleanup, line the base with aluminum foil as any grease just rolls right into it. It being so small it could get cruddy pretty quickly. Otherwise I am betting you will be pleased with this unit."

"As I have found, you cannot go too wrong with a Weber. This grill has been terrific for grilling on the apartment balcony when I just need something quick as opposed to firing up the Weber charcoal grill. It was also perfect for grilling some Brats and Chicken breast for a party of 5."

"I won one of these in about 1992 and I love it. Due to some States laws you cannot purchase this one here in Australia anymore. Mine uses the 9 kg gas bottle, not the canisters. For up to 5 people you cannot go past this grill, it gives the best tasting steaks even without any type of seasoning. The picture displayed has the legs different to the way I set it up, I swing them further so that the grill sits on the curved sections. A hinged lid would make it unstable when opened.
Best portable grill money can buy."

"I bought this grill for my daughter as a wedding gift, since they live in a condo they couldn't use anything bigger. They have had it for 2 years now and it is as great as the day it was used the first time. Uses a small propane bottle and you get about four hours constant use from one bottle. It is light enough to carry into the house and lights easy enough to have that must have grilled steak at 10 at night."

"This is a nice grill for taking on camping/fishing trips since it is small and easy to handle. It cooks evenly and seems to be pretty heavy duty. The only drawback with it is that in windy conditions it doesn't do real well. Living in Nebraska where it is windy a lot....that tends to be a problem."

"this is a great grill, especially if you dont like flareups, ive cooked just about everything on it from steak to hot dogs and it still hasnt flared up. always lights on the first push of the button. It is small and easy to transport if you dont like lugging your grill to the lake. great grill"
