"I've got friends with $300 in adjustable pads/combs. I think this one works just as well. Installed it myself in 5 minutes. The first "gunsmithing" project I've ever done. It was easy. Sanded the edges to match my stock (SPR 312). I can hold my gun firmly in my shoulder and keep my cheek on the comb now. Very budget friendly."

"the pad is awesome. i shoot trap at my high school and i bought it because i was having trouble with gun mount. it really helped me become a happier shooter. i mount my gun perfect every time and it fits a lot better now. made a half decent trap gun out of my 870 express!"

"I purchased this product to help me keep my head down while shooting skeet and sporting clays. I installed it on my Winchester 101 over and under. The only thing I would recommend to change would be to make the screw mounting holes slotted to be adjustable. I didn't want to drill a new hole in the buttstock because the regular recoil pad was only a small distance off from this one on my gun. I wallered out one hole on the new pad to accept the old screw holes. The new pad has succeded in keeping my eyes closer to the line of sight."

Shotgun replacement pad,

"The only reason I gave it a 4 was due to the screws provided were smaller than the ones used on my shotgun. I used the original screws and have a larger head than those provided. At the last trap shoot, shot 200 singles and walked away with minimal muscle soreness. The pad took most of the force and being adjustable I did not have to scruntch or roll my head to shoot. Is worth the buy but be prepared to do some work to make it fit."

"As the butt of my shoot gun would sit high in the shoulder the recoil was not sufficiently spread across the butt, resulting in a painful shoulder after extended range use. After purchase and installation of the Morgan adjustable recoil pad, two things improved. First I was able to shoulder the gun correctly, consistently, resulting in the second benefit, more broken clay's. This transferred to the field in more downed birds!!!
If your shoot gun doesn’t quite fit, try the Morgan it works for me."

"The Morgan Adjustable Recoil Pad adjust the height of shotgun stock getting my cheek quicker to the stock this has helped my score on the sports clay range and in the field. I'm an avid Quail hunter (with no dog) as you may know Quail are very quick off the line so getting the gun up and in the right position is critical.
Any hunter finding their self bunching up on the stock when shooting to get the right cheek placement should try this out."

"This recoil pad is great for me. Without it, I tend to pull my cheek off the stock, which takes my eye off the rib. Being able to set the stock 1 in. higher and the recoil pad in a comfortable part of my shoulder has helped my shooting a lot. I have 2: one on my Mossberg 835 for hunting, and one on my baikal o/u for trap. This is 5 stars in my book."

Solved My Problem,

"For years I have been having trouble hitting upland game and became tired of coming home empty handed. After conversations with several people, I tried a test suggested by one of them. The test is, bring up you shotgun to shooting position with your eyes closed and sight down the vent rib. I found that the stock didn't have enough drop and I was always shooting over my target. After some research I found that I could have my stock customized to fit me, a very expensive proposition, or purchase a Morgan Pad. I simply ordered a Morgan Adjustable Recoil Pad from Cabela's on line and it came in a few days.
The Morgan Pad did the trick. The only thing that keeps me from rating the Morgan pad with 5 stars is that my Morgan pad was shipped with a temporary mounting plate. It seems that they are changing manufacturer and I will have to send them my address and they will send a permanent mounting plate.
I am extremely happy with my Morgan Pad. I haven't shot this well in years."
