Cabela's Bipod

Our Bipod is perfect for backcountry elk hunts or any hunting where pin-point accuracy is necessary, but weight is at a premium. Also perfect for use as a camera rest. Both legs on the Bipod have four sections that extend from 22" to 61", so they'll fit virtually any shooting situation from prone to standing. 20mm legs are crafted of rugged, lightweight aluminum. Bipod legs fold together for easy toting.

"A solid bipod for the price. This is my second one, having lost the first one off my pack. This one is improved, with no more rattles, and good stability. Have shot 2 deer this fall with the bipod, so it must be doing something right!"

"don't be in a hurry to shoot as it takes too much time to set up all the legs and the thing is noisey to carry as it has no sheath to keep it in..."

"Although this isn't the most rock solid bipod out there, it is also by FAR cheaper than the competition. In my opinion, this bipod had a better value than the others due to its incredibly low price.

I did like the adjustability, but again, it is a touch shaky.

Also-- the swivel top was a HUGE plus. This was honestly the key selling point to me. With this, you can effectively follow your game by simply panning across rather than picking it up and readjusting."

"If i would of known how noisy this product was i would not have purchased it it was very hard to adjust without noise, so I think for $20.00 more i could have bought a better shooting rest. All the other products did what he said they would do. there needs to be more specifics on the products, so i need to send this back. I wish Cabela's would move closer to the canadian border, north of Bellingham."

"This is very light weight and seems to be stable. However it doesn't work well when using a adjustable objective scope. I didn't intend on using it with a scoped rifle so it worked out for me anyway."

"This is a great bipod for the price. I use it both for my rifles, and for my crossbows when i target shoot, and especially the long shots. The reason i bought this one over the deluxe model, was not just price, but more so that this one is more compact. I store it in my rifle and crossbow cases, depending on what I'm taking with me. Setup is very quick and not cumbersome at all.

1 quick tip.... use velcro on it. Put the hook side on the top of the pod, and a very small bit of the fuzzy side on every guns' or crossbows' forearm that you would use with this (keeps the sound of detaching it to nothing, but keeps it from falling away and makes it one hand operation so you can focus on holding the gun to tame the recoil.)
I almost wish they had made a mini version to shoot on bench rest, or off the hood of the car."

"Light, easy set up, great rest for sitting in a ground blind. A little noisy as received, but easily fixed. wrap a rubber band around the joint where the rest swivels and put a piece of stickey backed foam rubber on top of the rest --all is quiet !! Also works well to prop up the roof of your hub blind, if left out when a heavy snow load might be expected. (put the bi-pod between your seat & the center hub) Great product for the money!"

"I got this bipod on sale. It appears to do what I expected. Took it out hunting and it is light and easy to carry. Kinda light for a walking stick. It is also a little noisy while extending the legs. The extension seems to be holding well."

"Never used a Bipod for hunting deer...Always relied on resting my gun on a tree, fence, or what ever was available...Shot a doe in Pa. with my muzzeloader from the middle of a field. This Bipod kept the gun as steady as a bench rest.. Also light-weight and easy to carry.."
