"I ordered 4 rubber butt caps for my spinning rods and one for my bait-caster. I did need to make a couple adjustments. One rod was not large enough for the butt cap so I used some Andover Powerflex Sports Tape-2" Roll, to build up the rod handle so the butt cap would fit snugly. The other problem was somewhat the opposite. The rod handle was larger causing the coins I added to move in the butt cap. It sounded as if I added a rattle inside of it. I used a new Andrew Jackson Dollar Coin. I needed to force it into the cap, but it to gave a snug fit. They all balanced perfectly."

"These are super! I have @50 rod/reels - and almost all of these have these butt caps. They protect the rod handles, and help them lean against a pier. They are a great product."
