This may be the easiest way we have found to mix
epoxy. Just fold the packet in half, snip off the ends,
squeeze and mix. This provides an exact mixture of
hardener and resin for a perfect batch of epoxy every
time. Great for attaching rod handles to blanks or for
emergency guide repair. These small, conveniently
sized packets also reduce the amount of epoxy
wasted due to mixing too large of a batch for the job.
Working time is approximately 3 to 5 minutes. Available: Per 6 or Per 24.

Multi-purpose,March 29, 2009
By Mudflapfrom Columbus, Ohio-Go Bucks
"I bought this product to use on a G-Loomis rod blank I was building. It worked perfectly. I have used other epoxys and have had bubbles and sags. I also have used this epoxy for projects around the home. It is easy to mix and dries fast and clear."

Excellent,February 16, 2009
By RiverEco
"I Used these to tie surf candies, it was my first attempt with epoxy and I found them to be very straight forward to use. Don't plan on tying more than 2-3 flies at once as it does dry after 3-4 minutes,"

Cabela's Epoxy Packets,July 1, 2008

"Good , clear coverage, however, the epoxy is a little too rapid fixing . It set up faster than I had anticipated, making for a larger than desired epoxy wrap."

no consistency epoxy packets,May 6, 2008
By hcflyerfrom Island Park, Id
"Must be ready to assemble, very fast setting which is all right if you are ready,no time to mess around. That I can live with, the problem I had is no 2 packs had the same drying time. One will have 5 minute pot life the next is set up in 2.Learned this when trying to do 2 handle/reelseats at the same time, took 5 packs because of premature setting, should have taken 2.I like the packets for convenience but will not try to multi-task anymore."

The only way to use epoxy glue,May 21, 2007
By Augustefrom Florida
"Usually when the need arises to use epoxy to glue things together, two tubes are required. They, it's necessary to be sure that equal amounts of each resin are used as if too much or too little is used, the combination won't dry properly, nor be as strong as it should be. Using the packets, there is no measuring at all.... it's all done for you without waste. Just cut the side of the packet and squeeze completely onto a clean disposable surface. I use a pad of paper. Mix the combination thoroughly and in no time at all, it's ready to use. It holds practically anything together and best of all, it's completely dry in minutes with no waste and no fuss. Years ago I used similar packets of epoxy and after I retired I didn't see any more so thought they weren't available. What a pleasant surprise when I found them on Cabela's site."

Quick and Easy,April 16, 2007
By FarFletchedfrom Monte Vista, CO
"I found the epoxy packets to be quick and easy to use. Less waste from mixing too much and clean up was a breeze. Sets fast - real fast - but the amount in each packet was about right for most small jobs. I could affix as many as three outserts with one packet, but when I got interrupted after one application it was easy to toss the unused, set epoxy and open another packet. Time will tell if it holds my outserts on my arrows, but so far, so good. I'm glad I ordered more than I needed - it will be handy keeping a few of these packets around for quick fixes."

Cabela's Epoxy Packets,December 7, 2006
By CatchReleasefrom Edmond, OK
"I have been building fishing rods for over thirty years and have witnessed the improvements of the bonding agents. This is the very best "FAST" epoxy that I have used. If you want a strong bond and fast setting time, this is your product. Set up time is exactly as stated on the packet, three to five minutes."
