"I've used this every day since it came in........to hold down some receipts on a shelf. It came with very detailed instructions. Lost'em. Although they DO look nice on my shelf, I believe I could have saved some money with a cheaper brand and had the same results.

"I have tried 4 differnt products for rod building and guide repair. This is the best in apperence working time and ease of use. The only complaint I have is some times the resin will turn white a clump in a waxy solid mass. The free flowing portion still works great. I do have several bottles that have done this. I cant find the reason. But like I said Its the best looking product out there."

"This stuff seemed awefully thick for the "thin" finish, and the bottles were sticky, like some of one of the bottles had leaked. It did work ok, though."

"I have used the regular formula on several rods and thought I would switch to the lite. What a difference. There is much more working time with the lite, which is a frustrating problem with the regular formula, especially if you have a section with numerous wraps. You will definitely need 2 coats, since it seems to penetrate the threads more fully than the regular formula."

"the hardener was seperated when i recieved it didnt think to much of it ordered a second time and the new one was seperated as well . i didnt notice it and after 12 hours of spinning it was still tacky needless to say i had to tear it all down rewrap found a store 72 miles from the house to get the epoxy"

"I first started using Flex Coat Rod Finish in 1977 on a Sage 7100 bland and then a Sage 8100 blank. Since then I have built more than a dozen drift, float and fly rods on Lamiglas, Powell, Sage and Loomis blanks all with great results. Oh yeah, I am still taking steelhead and salmon on my first two Sage blanks on the Klamath, Sacramento and Trinity Rivers."

"Covers rod wraps like a Sage, Orvis, etc. Takes 6 hrs to stiffen enough to come off the rod turner. I have used on 20 or more rods..no problems"

"There is enough 2 Part epoxy to finish several rods. It is easy to mix and spread over the wraps. Two light coats did the trick!"
