Hialoy Spinning and Casting Guides
feature the highest grade of aluminum oxide available. A great advantage over inferior, softer grades of
aluminum oxide, which groove over time and damage easily. Strong enough to be mounted without
shock rings for lighter weight and better heat dissipation. Excellent choice for both freshwater and
saltwater applications.

pacbay sic guides,August 25, 2009
By weeman
"Nice guides for the price. I haven't used these long enough to say much about them but i can offer my first impression opinion. The rings are as highly polished and good looking as the SiC's made by the other company. I can't imagine these being all that bad. I do have 2 criticisms though. First, the frame's are fairly soft. Second, the rings are quite thick so these are not going to be the lightest guides around. At this price point though, it's a great tradeoff for getting a set of SiC's. I have 4 sets on the go (2 spin, 2 casting), one set went on a rod I made for a friend. I think he's going to love the look."

Double foot spinning rod guides,October 14, 2007
By ELMO913from Union,Mo
"Good quality, reasonable price, very strong guides for medium to heavy spinning rods. Guide feet need a little thinning before use but after winding the guides are very strong and secure. Good choice for heavy fresh or light saltwater duty."

Pacific Bay's Professional Guide Sets,April 17, 2007
By DSchfrom Central South Carolina
"The quality appears to be very good. Time and the elements will tell the rest of the story. I installed these line guides on a couple of 13' long telescopic panfish rods that I had installed small underspin reels onto. I used wraps of dental floss and coated the wraps with liquid electrical tape to mount them. They have worked very well and the cast is decent, which is not very important for my fishing needs. These are used for trolling for panfish."
