Kokanee Trolls.,September 3, 2009
By 1Johnfrom Northern Minnesota
"These come in several styles and sizes, and all work very well if you follow the basic directions. Proportion the sizes to the size of the targeted fish, and use larger sizes in murky or stained water. Attach a spoon, fly, spinner or baited hook 12 to 24 inches behind, and troll slowly. DO NOT troll too fast, especially with the larger sizes! Use heavy sinkers or downriggers for depth control. These are very well made, and will last for many years if cared for. A very effective tool for all trout, salmon, pike, and many others."

"I would recommend. Used in combination with Kokanee bugs and downriggers to limit out twice at Pardee Reservoir near Ione, CA this past summer 2006. Not too much drag either."
