Awsome action,October 28, 2008
By NJBassAnglerfrom I live in NNJ. My club fishes lakes in Conn. NJ.NY
"I was fishing on the Hudson River in Ossopus Creek under the docks when I caught my fish. I was useing a green pumpkin w/black flake lizard w/ the ultra steel 1/8 ounce weights. I only use the size no matter where I am fishing. I know it sounds silly but thats how I keep my tube/worm... rod set up. I also have 15 pound braided on it. But the fish was 17.5 inches and weiged 2.5 pounds. The limit on the hudson is 15 inches min year round wich makes for tough fishing. Any lake would have that fish weighing more but the are more active in the hudson."

Decent Sinker,October 27, 2008
By VtIceFisher616from The Burg, Vermont
"Not a bad bullet weight will do the job but I wish it came to a sharper point as the nose of the weight is a little to blunt. It was a very good price for the weights"

Ultra Steel 2000 Sinkers,January 18, 2008
By Nebrfarmboyfrom Lakewood, Co.
"I bought every size offered. Great alterative to lead andthe price of tungsten. the 3/4 and 1 oz. are to large in size for flippin and pitchin but should work good on a Carolina rig. they paint up well if you sand, clean and primer first."

Steel vs Lead,September 11, 2007
By Flyman2407from Ogden, Ut
"I started fishing these sinkers about 4 years ago and I have all but switched to steel. Lead can get you down faster but I like the feel and noise that the steel makes. I think it helps the fish find the bait better. I also prefer the weight to size ratio of the steel over the lead. For me, bouncing off rock bottoms with these steel sinkers is the ticket to more fish."

Shape could be better,June 4, 2007
By Pjh1741from cape cod Ma.
"Bought these weights to try to find a substitute to the more expensive lead alternative weights. Price was good but the shape of the weight is disappointing. Was looking to use these for pitching and flipping but don't like the blunt head to the 1/2 oz version. Will just have to use them for a carolina rig weight after I paint them."

Ultra Steel 2000 Bullet Sinkers,November 24, 2006
By EGroverfrom Boiling Springs, PA
"Good to use plain. Tried to paint, however, they have a coating that prevents this."
