"I have a set of Wusthof kitchen knives and found them to be super sharp, well balanced, light weight, and with blades of appropriate thickness to give desired flexibility and stiffness for the tasks they're designed to perform. This knife is no different in its ability to make short work of fish. I recently cleaned a good-sized yellowfin with precision and ease using this knife. I highly endorse it. Be careful with it, though, it's as sharp as a razor."

"Very Happy with this knife, i've had a ton of use with it. Typically i'll cut right through the rib bones first and take them out after. This knife with that abuse is doing this fine with the many walleyes i've cleaned over that last two years.
Every freind that has used my knife always makes a comment about it, "nice knife".
It tends to fall out of the sheath easily, i cut myself when that happened one time reaching into a fishing bag. Now i just tape the handle to the case for safety."

"I have used at fillet knives by several other companies and found them to be OK and was leery about paying this much for a fishing knife. However, this knife is about perfect and I would recommend it to anyone. This weekend I cleaned a very large number of red snapper, grouper and a cobia and the knife did a beautiful job filleting each and every fish and held the blade throughout four hours of non-stop cleaning."

"the knife was given to me for christmas last december and has been used extensively since. I have only sharpened it once since I got it and it really holds an edge. "This knife is every bit as good as advertised. It was sharp right out of the box and has held a nice edge after a considerable amount of use and abuse. The knife has a nice balance and makes trimming meat or filleting fish quite easy."
