"Although the quality of these items is good, I believe that the sizing has been misrepresented both in the text discription and in the pictures. In the pictures, the swivel and the snap have a very close relationship in size, however, the actual product comes with a much larger size snap then swivel. If the buyer is intending to use these with live bait rigs, then they will be of little value as the size makes them heavy and the modifications to the live bait rig to compensate for the bulky size does not make for an effective presentation thus reducing the effectiveness of the rig itself."

"I found this snap to be very reliable fishing in salt water. It held up to lots of abuse and some big fish. We took halibut,rockcod and salmon shark with these swivels as part of our terminal gear. To date I have not had one come open or part under stress. I have fished them on 100 pound superline in rocks and other snag prone areas. I would recomend this product to anyone looking for a strong reliable swivel that will take all the abuse you encounter fishing in Alaska."
