"I can tell you CCI is the best primers I have ever used. I hand load most primers and even when the primer ends up sideways and compressed into the brass flash hole they never go off. The CCI Primers are super safe and flip easy in the tray. Others seem to not flip as well and the slick tops slid easy into place with each load. I have been using CCI for over 30 years now and never had one problem. I have also had very good luck with the benchrest primers for rifle loads using them in all my hunting loads. I am super happy Cabela's carry's this product for my reloading needs."

"CCI primers have always been the most reliable I've used in almost 30 yrs of reloading. I used some from another big company ( starts w/R ) & had more than one failure. All they could tell me was that my seating depth was off. I never had that problem with any CCI primers."

"These are the best primers and they flow thru my Dillon Primer machine better than Federal or Winchester primers. I dont know why the others wont go thru my Dinnon Primer machine as they should all be the same size and weight but I never have problemswith CCI.
also. the best price around...even with the hazardous freight charge they are cheaper than my local gun shop."

"Order was originally placed in April and received merchandise in late June. Not surprising with ammunition and reloading components being relatively difficult to get. Cabella's probably did better at getting my primers than your corner reloading supply shop."

"Currently I am using any primers I can get my hands on. If you are substituting different brands of primers you need to check your results with a chronograph. None of them have given me any problems after using the chronograph and making minor adjustments. For the best results you need to do this anyway everytime you open a new can of powder. Different lots of the same type of powder can vary in their characteristics.
CCI is the brand that I compare all others to. Different brands of primers can vary slightly in size, hardness and the amount and characteristic of the flame they put out."

Long affair with CCI,

"I have been reloading for 29 plus years now, mostly with CCI shotgun, rifle, and pistol primers. In that time I have NEVER had a missfire due to a defective primer. Every primer has gone BANG. I have not used other primer brands much, so I am not an authority on the subtle differences in primers, but I do know that I am very satisfied with CCI primers and see no reason to ever change. They work good for me."
