greta primers, real sensitive,
June 18, 2009
By POWW
|
"i started loading my own a while back with CCI primers and a lee classic loader for .38's. got a box of these primers and on the 8th round i was making it went POW! these seem to be good and easy to activate. i guess i just need to back off on the tapping a bit when assembling rounds by hand. overall, 5 stars and i have all 5 fingers still! remember, always wear eye and hearing protection."

Excellent primer, none better.,
April 28, 2009
By Foard7
from Louisiana
|
"I shoot a pair of Evil Roy 45s for Cowboy Action Shooting. The pistols sometimes hit a little light on the primers. When I use Federals, they light the propellant every time. That is important in a match because you don't have to pull the trigger another 5 times to take a whack at it again!"

good product, fast service,
March 22, 2009
By BRIANLAW
from chapel hill, nc

"hey, all i want them to do is go bang.... the only thing i dont like is the packaging. the primers are all on their sides, which makes it slightly more difficult to load them into a primer tray. also, the packaging is extremely bulky for such small items. but hey, they work just fine."

Got a hatfull of powder,
November 25, 2007
By eeray
from Sacramento, CA
|
"I have been using primers of all brands for over 30 years and have found that my largest cartridges are more dependable when I use Fedral 215M Primers. No wonder factory Weatherby cartridges use these primers. I use them in my .375 H&H Ackley and all my Rem Ultra Mag reloads. Big powder charges require a hot match to work properly and these are just the ticket."

Bang Every Time,
October 23, 2007
By fallcitysam
from Kansas City
|
"Perhaps my expectations are pretty low but I expect a primer to fire when struck by the firing pin resulting in a bigger bang. After reloading approximately 11,000 federal primers, I've yet to come across one that did not perform in my firearms."

210 Primer,

By 3ohmyG

"I was planning on purchasing the 210M but could not find them. I did some research and found that the only difference between the 210 and 210M is the level of QC. These primers are just fine."

Reliable,
March 27, 2007
By Anderson
from Superior, Montana
|
"I have been reloading many pistol and rifle cartridges begining in 1963. I will not mention the name of other primers. But some of the most sold primers are to hard for pistols and even some rifle cartidges. Federal has it just right for all their primers. Miss fires and hard to seat primers using and even breaking a Lee Auto prime tool which I use for priming my cases, will not happen with Federal primers."
