"I normally purchase good quality bullets from Winchester but nearly 50% of the 1000 I recieved were sub-par. The tips on the bullets were not cut or poured correctly. The lead on the soft point was overflowing and will definetly affect the trajectory of these rounds. Not sure if this was just a bad batch or what."

"Excellent rounds for plinking in my AR-15, I shoot alot and the price was the best I coud find. The lead shoots a nice 1 inch group pretty consistently,good for killing bowling ball pins,soft balls,golf balls and paper target. was worth the 3 week wait."

"About 5-10% would not seat the same as the rest. Size and weight were not as consistent as other brands. Good for making bulk ammo, not for accuracy. Price was the only advantage over the other brands."

"Tips of bullets are different sizes and nonuniform causing bullets to be seated to different depths. Cannelures are not cut to the same height either. I am very disappointed Winchester is usually better then this."

"I have been using these bullets for 15 years and they continue to be one of my favorite bulk bullet choices. Accuacy is good (.223 1 inch or less at 100 yards) with no feeding problems. Quality and pricing are also good. A good value for the money if you don't want to pay premium bullet prices."

"I Moly coat these bullets and load them in 22 Hornet. I get great accuracy (<1 MOA in a Ruger 77/22H) and they come apart rapidly on prairie dogs. I wouldn't try to set speed records out of a 220 Swift or a 22-250 and they are definitely not a bullet for edible small game but for varmints in small capacity cases, they work great!"

"I, have been using these for years in my 30/06 work great on deer size critters. between myself and two sons lots of whitetails afew mulies and 8 caribou. keep them at 06 speeds 2700 fps they work great. loaded them in my 300 mag around 3000 fps sometimes found core from jacket seperation. our rugers like the 180s with H4350.and best of all the price is right for making up the right load, my boys can burn alot of ammo. In short I highly recommend these bullets!"

"The bullets appear to be uniform in shape and weight. They stick to a magnet, so they have a steel jacket coated by copper. I don't know if that affects the gun barrel or the target penetration. Easy to load with the boattail."

"Using my loads they fly straight hit hard ,good expansion and cheaper than most of the bullets i've bought i like-em just be careful and gentle when pressing them into the case-I've had to cut some of them flat after causing damage."

"In the past few years, I have had the hobby of loading my own ammo. I use a data table which was down loaded on our computer in combination with a Lee Loading manual to determine what powder to use for the flight, grain, and bullet being used at the time. One of my favorite to load for target practice is the Winchester 55gr Full metal Jacket using my Ar-15. Grouping at 250 yards or even further out is no problem with this excellent manufactured bullet. My wife doesn't mind me ordering components from Cabelas because it saves her money by loading our own ammo. God Bless America and Semper Fi."
