"I finally attached this to my loadall after loading a couple thousands shells by placing the primers by hand. I attached the primer feed last night and loaded a couple hundred shells. Overall it does speed up production, but you have to be careful with the feeder. I was using winchester primers and they do get hung up often, but at one stage when my left hand is free I use my thumb to make sure they keep feeding. Also I just lift the feeder up (as opposed to tilting it) to feed the next primer. I thought loading was pretty convenient, but I have to use my thumb to block the hole when attaching to the arm or a primer will roll and get stuck. It didn't take me long to figure out what not to do. There is a little bit of a learning curve, and for the price it's probably worth it considering it did speed up my loading a little. Is this thing automatic and flawless? Far from it. A newly designed feeder that is effective would be nice. I would recommend this to a friend with the disclaimer that it's better than doing it by hand, but not by much."

"I spent more time pushing the primers down the chute than I did making good rounds. Cheap plastic that is not manufactured to the tolerance needed to perform flawlessly. Save your money and do it manually."

"The spring that is supposed to return the primer feed to the starting position is too weak to actually work properly and the primers don't move smoothly through the primer feed at all. It is a lot easier to use than manually placing every primer in the loader for every shell. I've loaded about 700 shells with it so far and it's performance hasn't changed, so it least it has some consistency there!"

"Obviously you get what you pay for. It works Fair and does slightly increase your speed at the priming station. But... The primers are hard to load with without them tipping over. They also get jammed in the channel on the way to the priming station. Plus they should have put a stronger spring so that you don't have to lift up on the primer tray each time you want to load a primer.
If you really want to increase speed then you should break down and buy a progressive reloader. But definately keep the lee on hand for your non standard loads."
