"this is a great machine its fast and easy does come with every thing but you'll need a trimmer die and shell holder but great machine and by the way dont be afraid to tighten that bolt that holds the handle i broke the one side of the(two seperate pieces for leverage assembely is high strength steal) handle from not having it tight"

"I am begining reloader. I think you need a few more things than the kit provides. 1. a trimer to trim your cases 2. a dial calipers to get correct bullet seating depth 3. a bullet puller for mistakes. 4. a factory crimp die for any caliber you want to hunt with and of course a set of dies as well
I would also recommend the Lee dippers for making up small batches of ammo. I use a Lee 4.2 dipper for H4831SC for a 270 110 grain sierra bullet that is insanely accurate in my Remington 700. It is also a lower recoil load than the standard factory 130 grain deer load.
I originally bought the Lee 4 hole turret kit. That kit is really not for a rifle reloader. Cabelas took that back no questions asked and sent me this kit.
This kit does everything I need it to do. Lee stands behind their products. I sent a note to Lee about a case length trimer for 243 that was not concentric. They sent me a new one immediately, no questions asked.
So for a deer hunter on a budget that wants to reload this is a great value. I would not have started to reload if I needed $400 worth of stuff.
Reloading is a lot of fun. I would not say that it is cheap. I would say don't do it if you shoot 2 boxes of ammo a year. But if you head to the range often and have a need or want for accuracy or reducing recoil then dive in."

"Got my LEE press and the die set for 45 colt.had saved my brass,so i was ready! after reading the instructions,and mounting my press,i spent the rest of the day reloading my own cartridges! i found this kit to be very easy to use,and allows me to save a lot of money loading my own cowboy loads foR CAS. there are faster loaders im sure,but if your not in a hurry,this press does the trick. loaded 100 rounds in one afternoon."

"My son and I have loaded hundreds of rounds over several caliber, including Magnum rifle and small pistol. I am now getting my son his own. Press is sufficient, but I would not use it like an 800# gorilla. Ours lasted many years and I just recently upgraded the press to a turret model. "I give 5 stars to Cabela's for delivery and service. Also, 5 Stars to a product. This is all you need for reloading rifle cartridges in my case .300 WSM. "I am brand new to reloading and this is one of my first Purchases. I love the Press and the Quick Change Bushings. The Powder Trickler is decent, the scale seems to be accurate although a little difficult to read and adjust. I am loading for 5 different calibers. A .243, .25-06, .270wsm, .280 Rem and a 30-30. I have 2 sets of Lee dies also and I am pretty happy with all results thus far. I do wish Lee would sell the Quick Change Bushings in a set of 3 as numerous other reviews I have read. Why put 3 in this kit and sell em 2 at a time???????????"

"I just started reloading, and was looking to begin cheaply. This press package was in my price range. I am thoroughly (?) impressed with the quality and amount of add-ons with the kit. The press is high quality, the primer atachments work great. I also ordered the dies from lee and they are worth every penny. Only issue is that the primers do not usually go to the tube, they fall out the primer loading slot onto the floor. A well placed garbage can works fine."

"Not my first reload rodeo. I read where some reviews complained about the scales.. I found that the first thing you need to do with the scale is de-burr the bottom of the base with a file so none of the cast seam flash hangs down farther than the three little feet. .. before I did that, mine wouldn't set still. It is important that this thing sit on three "legs". After that, I found the scale extreemly reliable and accurate. (much better than I would have ever expected). As with any reload gear you can't act like a bull in a china hutch. I found the powder measure fixture to get pretty close but I weighed and made small adjustments to the grain count on each load. The powder volume from the fixture may be close for most folk but I want near perfection, the slight difference in actual load density between loads makes measuring by volume less accurate than weight on a balance scale. I chalk up the variation in loads weights out of the powder fixure due to this fact. I did find it is wise to tap lightly a few times on the fixture assembly while it is measuring a load improves repeatability to with in a few (actual) grains of powder. Adding or removing a few grains of powder with a blunt pair of tweezers druing the scales step did the trick. If you only plan to load 50 to 100 bullets every once in a while this is a perfect match for you. Don't forget to buy a set of dies. I wasn't impress with the tube of lube.. and used a different product. I found the lube to require too much force compaired to the other product. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the lube and the work I had to do on the bottom of the scale base."
