"Disappointed with digital scales as other reviewers have pointed out.
No warmup time.
Not overly sensitive.
No drift in readings.
No need to keep re zeroing.
This scale in conjunction with a powder dribbler is actually faster and more accurate. Buy the check weight set as a safety precaution."

"This product was on back order for for over half of a year (7 months). By the time I received it, I had purchased another scale and it cost me $7.50 in freight to return. The other equipment I purchased could not be used safely without the scale so I spent several hundred dollars and could not reload for months. A good piece of equipment is no good if you don't have it!"

"After a couple of bad experiences with digital scales, I decided to try the old standard manual scale. It works great! With the magnetic damping, it only takes slightly longer to check weights than the digital scales and its much more stable. I highly recommend it."

"i perfer this over a electronic scale anyday. on a electronic scale it take about 5 seconds to read the charge and not change. this dosent just fill the pan and use the powder trickler to get the last few grains on it. Buy it. You will not regret it."

"This scale is one of the best for the price. It is simple to use and you dont have to worry if its accurate. Just zero and weigh, sometimes low tech is better. The built in magnetic stabilizer makes for faster reads and less hassel about over charging your rounds."

"This is a very accurate and very dependable. You know when this scale is in calibration, because it is balanced. There is no guessing like electronic scales. Takes a little longer, and a little more effort than e-scales, but just as accurate and more reliable."

"I bought this scale to backup my electronic scales - which
seemed to fail when you need them the most.
Advantages:
1. no need to warm it up
2. never drifts, once balanced properly
3. pretty fast in reacting to a powder trickler
Petty disadvantage:
1. the little slide weights seem to move quite easily
All in all this is one fine piece of work, very accurate to a
1/10 grain."

"I grew up reloading. I am 46 years old and was taught as a child by my dad how to reload. The powder scales we used were all RCBS. I now have a 5-0-5 scale I am teaching my son on. The thing I love about this scale is it's adaptability; you can move it from surface to surface and get accurate results everytime. It is a breeze to set up and it keeps its calibration from reloading session to reloading session.
Bottom line: Having reloaded shells on my own for over 30 years, this scale is an excellent scale for all applications."
