"I like the structure and the door set-up. The hole for the minnows to go into the trap is too large. I've trapped a good size turtle and a fish that took up the whole box. A little wire provided a smaller hole. Overall its a good trap and I would recomend it."

"I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY GRANDMOTHER, WHO LOVES TO BE OUTSIDE IN HER YARD WORKING OR FISHING.THIS AFTERNOON WHEN I PULLED UP TO HER HOUSE, THERE SHE WAS OUT AT THE POND CHECKING HER SQUARE MINNOW TRAP. THAT BRINGS BACK ALOT OF MEMORIES WHEN I STAYED WITH HER IN THE SUMMERTIME WHILE OUT FOR SCHOOL. NOW I'M GETTING TO SEE MY GRANDMOTHER DO THE SAME STUFF SHE DONE WITH ME AS SHE IS NOW DOING AND TEACHING MY 5 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER. "This is a great trap. My other traps are rusted out after two years, but this one has a coating to keep from rusting. I have only used it for two months and it looks like new where my other ones would be showing rust already. It does catch minnows also."

"This minnow trap is very well built. The screen is a very strong durable metal which has a thick coating to prevent rust or corrosion from fresh or salt water. This trap has two handles on top to tie your rope to. I like to use just one handle because I throw my trap out and I find it easier to pull in this way. There is a sliding door on the side to bait the trap and to remove the minnows. I like this idea because I leave my trap in the water and get bait when I need it. If you are in the market for a new bait trap give this one a try, i'm sure you won't regret it."

"This is one of the best traps I have ever used !!! And with the right bait is is easy and quick to catch them. all you have to do is take a bottle of some kind and poke holes in it and use something as simple as dog food as bait... it really works! (make sure you check the local laws before setting any trap)"
