"Purchased this 7' net as a shallow water light weight alternative to my 10' net. This net is well made using decent quality materials. Not as fancy or polished as my much higher priced 10' net, but it opens just as well if not better. I really like the resin covered weights on the lead line. They don't leave marks on my white boat deck like bare lead. Great net for the price!"

"I bought a 7'- 3/8" mesh, Fitec cast net. I am very disappointed in the quality of this net. 1) It measures 6 1/2 feet only, stretched out. 2) The monofiliment mesh is too short for the lead line circle 3) The braille lines are not of consistent length 4) The mesh is stiff, has a memory and is hard to handle smoothly. 5) When it arrived the plastic bucket was broken and unuseable.
I will go with another brand next time.

"I recently purchased the fitec pro select 3/8" 10'radius casting net. when i opened the package i was amazed at the quality of the net. six-panel construction, nice floating handline with neoprene wrist strap that stays on your wrist, heavy weights allows the net to sink fast, the horn was made from brass(never seen this before). this is one of the best nets i have purchased and used. throwing a large net is easier than most people think it just takes a little practice plus it comes with a video tape to teach you how to throw a large net like this one. the price of the net is also very reasonable for the quality of the net you will be getting. I will deffinately buy more of these nets in the future."

"I have watched their instruction tape over and over and over and still cannot get the net to open properly. There is not a section that says "if this happens here's what you're doing wrong". This net is useless to me."

"The Fitec Pro-Selecte series of nets are really a great value for the price. Why pay more? The six panel design lays out flatter than other cheaper brands and really stands up to wear. I own seven and eight foot radius nets and both have taken a beating over several years hanging up on tree stumps and rocks. Both are still in service with just simple minor repairs. I have even inadvertently bagged big cats, turtles and even a muskrat without tearing! Try one you'll love it!"

"I have used the 7 foot FITEC Pro Select 3/8" mesh cast net for several years. It is the best net for catching shad I have found. It opens up well, sinks to the bottom quickly, and is very durable. The 28 foot cord allows the net to sink to the bottom in 25 feet of water. I typically add a key floater to the cord loop to easily retrieve the net if it is dropped in the water."
