"i use these hooks on my jugs in early spring to catch channels,and flats they work great for cut shad not razor sharp out of the box slight touch -up is needed on the point.Other than that tho they are well worth the $$ i will always keep some in my tackle box.i use in size #4/o."

"I've been buying these hooks just for Sturgeon fishing in the California Bay area/Delta. These are great hooks for the price and its a lot cheaper to make your own hooks. We caught and released an 88 inch sturgeon in The delta with these hooks, along with a few keepers.. Purchased AFW leader sleeves (J04B-B), Wire (Surflon D060), and plastic beads here at cabelas. Have caught large batrays also. Highly reccomment them. Gotta Go sturgeons on!!!!"

"These are my favorite hooks for catfishing. I prefer the upturned eye so that I can snell the hooks, and I've had excellent luck with kahles. They almost always hook the cats in the corner of the mouth. The hooks are well made, strong and well formed."
