large eye good for bucktails,September 30, 2007

"we use the 254 5/0 & 4/0 for bucktails on the back of poppers, plugs and metal. the larger eye on the hook is a good fit for the split rings. Big blues and strong bass have mauled the hand tied buck tails but the hooks have never failed. good sharp O'Shaughnessy point."

"I deepsea fish for Tuna, Wahoo, Dorado and Sailfish. I need equipment that is reliable and of quality. These hooks were the worst I ever purchased. I absolutely would not use one. I want to get my fish in the boat. Eagle Claw needs to work on the quality of their products."
