heavy-duty fishing. Senator Reels have a powerful star Roman® drag
system for fish-fighting strength.
The Senator® features a stainless steel pinion gear, manganese bronze main gear,
multidisc drag system and an anodized-aluminum spool.
The Senator® II has sealed, stainless
steel ball bearings to make casting, free spooling, retrieving and fighting fish easier. Each also has a
lightweight, black anodized-aluminum spool, HT100 star drag system, heavy-duty precision cut gears, and
sealed sideplates to protect the drag assembly from water.
The Special Senator® has high-speed, precision-machined bronze alloy main gears
and stainless steel ball bearings. HT-10™ multidisc drag, sealed drag assembly, reinforced
sideplates, graphite composite rod clamp and chrome-plated brass on exposed parts to shrug off
corrosion.
