"Well built, powerful, only wish it had power out instead of releasing clutch. Remote distance is overrated, I need to be within 10 feet to activate."

"This winch will not pull my Tracker Targa V16 completely onto the trailer. The total package weight, including trailer, is 2,200 lbs. I am very disappointed in this winch."

Excellent product,May 28, 2008

"I recently purchased a RC30 model for my 21' Seaswirl Striper which is listed over 5500 lbs. The RC30 handles the load extremely well and has made my life easier getting the boat trailered without getting wet or having to have help. Just what I was looking for!"

"Very disappointed. I have a 16ft Crestliner with a 70hp Johnson. The first winch I got snapped the main axled on the first time out. Cabela's as always is great and shipped out another one right away. I hooked the new one up and it wouldn't work. I took the housing off and one of the wire leads to the switch had not connected. I then went fishing and got my boat almost to snug, and yes, the main axle broke again! I could heare it snap. Once again, Cabela was great! But this time, I changed brands! Capt Mc"

Power Winch,April 9, 2007

"Being disabled I find the winch a great tool in launching and loading my boat on the trailer. I do not have the strengh to use a manual winch. The remote makes it possible to do this alone without relying on other persons and also I stay dry. I have had it a short time and used it 3 times and if it holds up I will be fishing alot more often."
