Great for deep V boats,

"This spare tire mount worked perfect for my boat, when I have tried others that would not fit due to the deep v hull of my boat. It mounted in about 5 minutes and holds the spare tire secure. Now i don't have to throw the spare in the back of my SUV, since it is mounted on the boat trailer."

"I required an offset spare carrier due to my trailer configuration. This product fit the bill. I did, however have to "cheat" a little to make the spare ride a little higher. I was fearful of it making the spare come too close to the ground. It would be nice if they would have placed a few more holes in the plate to allow for more flexibility in mounting. Other than that---Does the job!"

Perfect for 18 ft Shorelandr trailers,

"I installed this easily on the trailer for my 18ft SeaRay Laguna. There is no room as the trailer has a swing away tongue and winch taking up all available space. I thought the angle might be too steep but it's perfect and right in line with the flow of the boat's side. Looks good in the only possible mounting spot.
Very secure bolts, but we'll see how it holds up to repeated salt spray in Florida's 90 deg temps."

"Overall the Spare Tire Carrier is sturdy and well made. The installation was made difficult because of the weight of the system and the threads were very course making it difficult to secure the nuts to the threaded rod. In looking at the system in place - I would have preferred to have the length of the offset reduced by about 3". This would have allowed the spare tire to fit closer to the frame and boat."

"I have been shopping around for a six lug carrier. I found this one and the box said four or five lugs wheels only. I gave up and bought it as I could modify it. When I got home all I needed to do was move the three lugs to the outer holes, bolts right up and I am ready for the lake!"
