Great Product,

"I just installed a set E-Z Slide trailer pads with bunk enders this past weekend. WOW, what a difference in loading and unloading my 20 ft aluminium, deep-V, boat on Lake of the Woods, MN. I use to have to back down with just 4-6 inches of pads exposed for loading, now half of the 10 ft. bunk is sufficient. Unloading is the same, quick and easy backing off the trailer, without having to put the rear wheels of my truck in the water. A friend and I installed the set in less than fifteen minutes. I ordered two of the large sets and I have spare pads when I need them. Two bunk-enders cover the six-inch bunk perfect and have eliminated the tearing of carpet on the rear of the bunk. I wish I had done this when I bought the boat and trailer."

"These pads are Great. Anyone that has a Bunk Trailer with a good size boat that wishes there boat would load and unload like a roller trailer needs to have these. Since installing these on my bunk trailer my boat loads especialy easy, and centers itself on the tailer with no problems. Just make sure that you DO NOT unhook the boat until it is in the water."

E-Z Slide Trailer Pads,
August 3, 2009
By RBak

"This item is great for loading ramps that offer a "shallow" angle for loading & unloading...especially a heavy boat. Having installed these, I can now motor on and off with no problems at all. Their weak point is if the angle of the ramp is to steep, then the boat has a tendency to just slide back unless the bow is hooked to the winch or safety chain.
Overall, I am very pleased with mine. Being retired, I used my boat several times a week and fully understand that when bunks that are not right can be a real pain."

Amazing,
July 14, 2009
By stcbrandolph

"I have never felt impressed with a product enough to write a review before today. I have a big, old, heavy aluminum flat bottom bass boat that sits heavy on 12 foot carpeted bunks that it sticks to like it was glued there. I have always had to float it on and off, so I was skeptical to say the least. I did my math, figured out the spacing I needed, found a block of wood to use as a spacer and took a battery drill and screw driver bit to the ramp. Had them installed in under 10 minutes. Backed the trailor till only the back three feet of bunk was in the water and thought, OK, proove yourself. I was astounded when the boat drove right up on the trailor with half throttle! Next time I launched, I again left myself plenty of room to stand behind the truck and not get my feet wet. My partner got in the boat and I gave the boat a shove not expecting it to move. Amazingly it slid right off the trailor into the water. I expected the rivets to chew the pads up, but after 6 launchings and loadings, so far they show no wear. The pads look like plastic, but seem to be made of a hard, tough rubbery material. I used a pair of kit 4 with 6 3/4" spacing which was probably overkill and wasted some money. But it gave me a few spare pads should I have to replace a few in the future and was money well spent for no more frustration and wet feet getting the boat on and off the trailor."

Great product for an older man,

"Added at least 5 years to my boating life. My 17.5' Alumacraft Navigator Sport with a Yamaha 115 4-stroke engine now goes on and off the trailer with ease. Product is well made and installed without a problem. The boat is factory painted (How many are not?) but I have not seen any marks on the bottom from the E-Z Slide Pads. The only issue so far has been the need to be very careful when launching since the boat has a tendency to slide off the trailer by itself as soon as the winch is released!"

i have a small skiff that can be launched just about anywhere.. just need a little water...these glides allow me to literally push the boat off the trailer in lieu of soaking my back wheels in the salt water.."

"These pads work great. I fish by myself most of the time & these pads really help out loading & unloading my Tracker TX170. I can shove it off the tralier with only one hand when launching. They were easy to install but be sure the screws are good & tight or they will back out. I am well pleased"

"I had these on my last boat trailer, but they went with the boat and trailer when I sold it. I tried going this first fishing and hunting season without them, but found shallow launches tough and had some freezing to the bunk issues during hunting season. Just got them on my new (1 year) set up this weekend and they worked great!"

Wonderful,

By Oldtyme

"Wow. These work wonderful. (maybe a little too good) :) Backed into a normally troublesome launch today with the new slicks on....got just the very rear of the boat touching the water, unhooked the winch strap, pushed, the boat slid right off. Equally as easy to winch the boat back on. I have used the "other" sliders & these are much nicer. I would definitely not unhook the winch strap until the boat is touching the water.....they work that well they do :)"

Put boat in the water,
August 10, 2008
By bayoubill
|
"We installed these on a trailer for an 18 foot flat bottom. Thinking the boat ramp was too shallow (approx 10 degree) a slope to matter, I disconnected the boat and started backing down the ramp. The boat came right off; unfortunitely before the trailer was in the water! I lucked out since the boat made it to the water and the motor was not damaged. Follow the directions and put the boat in the water before you unhook it! A simple push and the boat comes right off. Getting the boat back on requires leaving the motor engaged until the front strap is attached. You could easily wench the boat on if you don't care to drive onto the trailer. These are much better than carpet and should stop Galvanism from salt water."

e-z slide trailer pads,
June 2, 2008
By nocoldfingers

"prior to using the e-z slide trailer pads I had a hard time launching my boat- I had to submerge the trailer almost to the hitch to get it free. Now the tires on the trailer are not all the way under water. When re-trailering the boat low speed and just a couple cranks on the winch and I'm done. Great product"
