"Easy to cut tubes with tubing cutter and install. Mine did not require rivets. Top nylon fitting broke after a couple of years of use. Spare fittings are available from Cabela's. Would prefer metal fittings, otherwise fine."

"I was disapointed. The quality does not match the excellant quality of the Cabela's bimini top that is used with this brace. I especially did not like the cheap plastic fittings, one cracked during installation. I wish there was a stainless steel fitting option."

"I ordered the rear brace for my Bimini Top. The directions were easy enough to follow except for the placement of the rivets in the bottom of the brace. These were supposed to be hammered in, but they would not hold. I was able to solve the problem by using pop rivets, which worked with no problems. I understood why the company had to supply this solution because of the universal fit of the brace, but they should have used some type of bolt to secure the bottom fittings. After I solved the problem with the pop rivets, the brace has worked extremely well. I trailered the boat over 500 miles with no issues."

"I installed the brace, and on the way home from the lake, the plastic cap on the brace broke. I guess it couldn't take the wind from driving down the highway (70MPH). I had to order another rear brace assembly (charged my credit card again). They wouldn't just send the one part that was broken, they sent the whole assembly of which I had to return the unused parts to get a credit back to my charge card."
