"I used the aluminium product on some boat hatches and it worked fine. The only thing is that you have to be careful when handling it because it kinks easily. Stainless steel is better for durability, but is nearly twice as much in price. You pay for what you get."

"The aluminum continuous hinge is perfect for boat hatch lid applications. The hinge has surprising strength and is very easy to cut and work with. I have found the only continuous hinge I will ever purchase. I highly recomend this product to anyone who needs a good solid easy to work with hinge."
