"For a womans use. I've used these cleats on another boat of mine, to hold my anchor cords tight. I have 6 of them on my 15" boat, for mushroom anchors and claw anchors. So now I got some to install on my 22" boat and they are working just great. I tend to be one of those that can't tie a decent knot, so these work great for me."

"Cleats are not shipped with screws or small bolts. While I understand that not all installations are alike, a pair of stainless screws or bolts that would enable the most common installations would be anice touch. That way folks could use the product without going on *another* shopping mission."

"I used these on my 14' custom bass boat (the metal ones) for docking and anchor lines. They're solid, strong, quick to use, and small enough that you're not worried about snagging them accidentally like traditional cleats, plus they're rounded so as not to snag on the cover during trailering and storage."

"I thought these would make tie up to the dock easier. Not so - no matter how I tried to loop the rope through these cleats they would not hold. After a few minutes they would come undone and my boat would be adrift. I took them off and put regular cleats on. Maybe I was not using them right I don't know but I would never trust my boat to stay attached to a dock with these things."
