"The product was easily installed, simple instruction, with a good wiring diagram. I put the unit in my boat as a replacement for a different companies product. It worked better on the first use than the other product ever did."

Livewell Timer Replacement,

"My old timer died after one season. It took a little longer to replace than I thought it would since the original timer was not built into the old switch and I had to locate the defective timer and remove it. Once that was completed I was able to get it installed and tested really fast. It was an exact fit into the old switch location and I was able to use the the waterproof cover from the old switch as well. It looks original now and it works perfectly!"

"The timer appears to be well made and solid. I installed mine in series with the manual recirculate switch. I left the timer in the auto position and tie wrapped it to a cable bundle behind a panel. This way there were no new holes to drill as the unit would not fit the existing square hole. After I fill the well and catch fish I just turn on the old recirculate switch and leave it on. The timer then takes over for about 30 sec every 4+ minutes. At the end of the day or when I no longer need recirculation I just turn off the original recirculate switch which is mounted on a switch panel."

"the timer I received is not the same as the one pictured on the website. It looks as though Rig Rite added a waterproof housing around the older version. The problem is I didn't have enough room for this extra plastic housing. I was replacing a older toggle switch and the new one ran into the fuse housing. I took a dremel to it and made it fit, but the timer pictured on the website would have fit without any problems. Just a warning to the next person.
Works fine after being adjusted."

"If you want to keep your fish alive all day, this is the timer for you. I was able to keep 24 big Walleye alive for more than 6 hours. The other boat fishing with us had dead fish after only 1 hour. This has made a huge difference in the way my fish have tasted all summer. A must for every livewell"

"Installed the livewell timer and went out on my first fishing trip with it. The unit worked perfectly and I was very pleased with the ease of installation as well as its operation. My buddy after seeing it working will be ordering one for his boat. No more forgetting to turn the pump on and off again. Good product."

"This product works as advertised, but I have not had an opportunity to use it extensively yet. I gave it a test run and the livewell ran for 38 seconds, then was off for 3:40, then ran another 38 seconds. Easy installation, as long as you have a place in your panel to drill the mounting hole and can access the livewell wiring. I left my existing livewell power switch in place, and put this switch in series with it."

"The automatic setting worked for about five minutes and hasn't worked since. The manual setting works OK but a plain toggle would have done that. I wouldn't get this product again."

"Why this timer is not standard on all new manufactured boats is uncomprehendable. If you fish in tournaments, or have ever decided to release you catch later in the day, you will want one of these timers. 3/6/08 I have ordered a new boat striaght from the factory with all the bells and whistles that I wanted, but as soon as I pick it up and tow it home, one of these timers is going to replace the factory switch!!!!"

"Finally installed a Rig Right Automatic Livewell Timer and am very satisfied. Before installing this timer I used to manually turn the areator on & off. Of course this meant that sometimes I forgot to turn the thing on and the result was almost always dead fish. I installed the timer just before a trip to Lake Gogebic in Michigan's upper peninsula. Our second day there, I had several large walleyes in the livewell for most of a very hot & steamy day. I set the timer on "cycle after filling the livewell and continued fishing. Of course, I promptly forgot about the timer. When I finally got back to the dock around suppertime, I was elated to find all of the walleyes were very active and unaffected by the length of time spent in the livewell during daytime temperatures hovering in the low 90's. Great product, easy to install and worth every cent. Because of this, my fishing buddy had to have one for his boat as well! Highly recommended.

"Well to say the least this timer did meet what I thought was a good value. When I hooked it up and used it for the first time it was just what I was looking for. The timer did what was stated and cycled for 3 min off and 30 seconds on. It kept my bait alive all day as I was hoping. On the second trip the cycle part of the timer stopped working. I'm guessing that this unit is not made for saltwater. I was using this timer on a kayak livewell the cycle feature was the selling point. With that not working on only the second trip I give this product 3 stars. I bet if you could cover or waterproof the switch it would work perfectly."
