"Pump produced the volume for which it was rated. Ran very quietly. Compact. However, this unit failed after running on and off for 2-3 weeks. I suspect this was a "lemon", a one in a hundred (thousand?) that was defective. It comes with a 3 year warantee. I'll get it replaced and try the same pump again."

"Pump is easy to install. Change hose clamp and two wires. Sugest that manufacture could include adheasive to hold pump in place and two waterproof wire nuts."

"Cute pump. Nice and small. Manual mode runs fine. But auto feature doesn't work at all. I have to go out to the boat after every rain storm and run it manually. This is not what I thought I bought :-("

"This is an outstanding and reliable pump. In Auto mode it keeps my bilge dry without a minute's concern.
Once the bilge is empty, this pump automatically cycles off for about 3 to 4 minutes and is then ready for any more water that it may need to pump.
I highly recommend this (or any other Rule) pump."

"This pump will vacume lock and not pump once it pumps down to some air. The pump will not pump water when this happens. Pump must be turned off and restarted."

"I use rule 500gph submersible pumps in my shad tanks to keep my bait alive, they do an extremly good job. I use the rule 1500 pump to transfer water from the lake to the tank, and to empty the tanks. They are both reliable. We travel up to 350 miles to get bait and spend up to 8 hours getting it, so a reliable pump is a must."

"I purchased the rule 1100 automatic pump to replace the original same model, the old one would stick in the on position and not shut off. The new one does the same thing after only 3 months of use. Went to use the boat last weekend only to find the pump had drained the battery. The float is not stuck , I have to operate the float several time to make the pump shut off, so it is some sort of internal switch problem."

"Funny as it sounds, I bought two of the smaller pumps to construct a motion rig for duck decoys. The pumps have been put through an abnormal amount of abuse, pumping water through mud and weeds. I also have a larger one in my boat for its true intended purpose. They hold up well and are dependable and that is what you need in a bilge pump."

"I owned a fishing resort for 27 years and used to run down and bail my boats in the middle of the night when we had a hard rain. After I put rule automatic bilge pumps in my boats I never worried about sinking a boat again. They are dependable and problem free."
