"I have searched the market relentlessly for a decent substitute for the discontinued Ligas shap-a-wate...Im sorry to say, this isnt it. The product I received was rock hard and almost impossible to tear off a usable piece. I would like to think it was just a bad batch or possibly an older chuck of weight. Meanwhile, I have started using the green tin shot... it just takes a little getting use to."

"Tungston Tacky Weight is a must have for all fly fisherman. You can use as much or as little as you need. And it rarley gets snagged on rocks like ordinary split shots. I have been using it for about 2 years now and i will NEVER EVER use spilt shots again.
